I live in Wisconsin where a predominantly Germans settled but, tons of Finns settled the north. Polka music was extremely popular all around the state and the different ethic groups would play each others songs but, just translate the lyrics. I could see this song being played in a Northern Wisconsin logging camp back in the day. lol
