Being a young adult is nice because the world still holds some unknown elements to it. Once you hit your 30's you have a full time job and responsibilities and you get sucked into routine whether you like it or not or you end up homeless. Sure, if you score an easy and high paying job due to personal connections things are easier and more fun but most people never get there. Then you work for 35-40 years to pay the bills until you retire and have another decade or two of quality life before you either die or end up in assisted living until you die and lose your freedom. So awesome to see Bam getting healthy. As a man in recovery from meth and heroin myself, this is so inspiring. Jackass and CKY was a huge part of my teenage years and I feel like I went through my addiction with these guys. I’ve since published a book and started a youth program.
what’s the youth program , i’m 3 years sober and everyday is battle that i take great pride in winning and yes life is more boring but knowing where i was heading and now where i am heading is so much better and more meaningful, for the future kids too. i’m in jacksonville beach if you want to connect your youth organ here it could give me a head start on my goals!
It's almost like having a mirror held up at yourself, watching these guys and remembering how things were.. remembering how we were. Life got hard didn't it lads. One thing Bam always got right was passing the torch to the younger gen.
Yea the painting of the last supper said it all. Do you understand the symbolism of a snake eating its tail and throwing up devil horns at the last supper? Playing with demons I’ll just have you in hell for eternity in the worst chamber possible due to all the hound deceived kids he’s lead astray. Passed a torch are you fn serious? You think demons are fairytale game you can play and be fine?

Love you Bam, and love you Brandon, you are both inspirations in your own ways, and you both have some amazing things to give the world! ❤
I partied at Castle Bam years ago with both Bam & Novak. This was pre Dunn passing away. I pray Bam can stay clean/sober & find peace like I & Novak have. Not a fan of Novak though for he now pimps out addicts for financial gain, but glad he did spend time with his old friend, who desperately needs a true friend, SO HE NEEDS YOU NOW NOVAK, NOT YOU PRETENDING LIKE THIS IS NOW. I devote much of my life TRULY helping those who still suffer & I have a strong feeling that this video is a bit older, & Bam still a mess. We all were a mess back then, Novak was the most fucked up so glad he is at least clean. I recently celebrated 7yrs of continual recovery & living proof that WE CAN & DO RECOVER FROM THE HOPELESS SLOW SUICIDE
Bam really could’ve had the world by the nuts. He could’ve been an absolute mogul. He could be worth nearly a billion dollars by now. With his influence and brand I don’t think it’s too late for him to be these things.
Yeah but bipolar and all other mental illnesses are a bitch. Hard if not impossible to cure. Add on top of that a substance abuse problem? Yeah not looking so good..I still have high hopes for him though. I don't WANT to say he is a lost cause yet. But he's pushing towards 45yrs old and has cheated death many times in life already. Luck runs out ya know. ❤ I root for him though. Would love nothing more than to see the really cool guy I've enjoyed watching in his shows SUCCEED in this.
Knowing how the crew treated Novak when so many of them were similar makes me feel a way, but tbh everyone needs redemption. I wish Bam a healthy sober life.
Hope Bam keeps up his sobriety and health. I live in the same town and only wish the man health and happiness in his older ages. I'm around the same age also. What Bam and Jackass did for West Chester, Chester County PA was awesome. Made us all proud to live around where it all began. And as fans of the show and current resident. Our entire community mourned the loss of Ryan Dunn even though we didn't know him personally. He was still a resident. Lets all get old and happy.
Being stuck in the past aint good for his mental health, everyone else is either moved on or gone and you are just there all alone.. speaking from experience.
It was around January 2003 at around 8am. I was in the 82nd Airborne and about to deploy to Iraq for my first time. I flew up to Philly to visit some family before I left. I was at the Philly airport ready to fly back to NC when I was walking down one of the terminals toward a bar. I heard skateboards riding through the terminal. I look behind me and see these two dudes skating past me through the airport. Never seen that before and still haven’t ever since. I was a huge fan of CKY and knew exactly who they were. But they kept skating on. I sat down at the airport bar and began drinking a brew. Then here come the skating duo to sit right next to me. We shared a round of beers and a couple laughs and that was it. Good times. I wish you well Bam and Novak. Thanks for the memory.
Getting older is weird af. It turns into less about living in the moment and more about talking about old times. Wish someone told me to enjoy my youth more

what’s the youth program , i’m 3 years sober and everyday is battle that i take great pride in winning and yes life is more boring but knowing where i was heading and now where i am heading is so much better and more meaningful, for the future kids too. i’m in jacksonville beach if you want to connect your youth organ here it could give me a head start on my goals!
These two are fucking great
Love that they made this video! Both of you look great. I can’t believe it’s been 20 years since the show, but man did I love watching yall.
It's almost like having a mirror held up at yourself, watching these guys and remembering how things were.. remembering how we were. Life got hard didn't it lads. One thing Bam always got right was passing the torch to the younger gen.
what torch would you say he passed?
He also lets young skaters ride his park
life got hard, i found drugs :3
Man I don’t know if bam can pass the torch, cause mentally he hasn’t passed 20 yet.
Literally EVERYTHING he mentioned i remember as if i were there!
I still have every episode from every season including the specials and one-offs.
R.i.p Vito & Dunn ♡
ps - looking good Bam, its great seeing you smile.
Not RIP Vito. He was a sex offender.
Bam is the new Vito
This is the healthiest and happiest I have seen Bam in a couple years now. I am so happy he has been sober for a month now, and I’m sending all the positive vibes I can to him. Love you Bam, and love you Brandon, you are both inspirations in your own ways, and you both have some amazing things to give the world! ❤
This footage is actually "a couple years" old lol
@@ghostwalk2446 LMFAO
i love hearing the happiness in their voices while remembering the good times
We're on on your side, man!!
I hope he can stick it out and find life again ❤
You're a loser.
This was nice to see Bam and Novak together, hopes Bam keeps on track.
I like how the lightning in the painting looks like a heartagram
all good things come to an end
Mental health trumps fame and wealth. Those things are worthless without the ability to be comfortable without them.
Money ain’t everything
Bam is the man im seriously so proud of him. i love this dude
Knowing how the crew treated Novak when so many of them were similar makes me feel a way, but tbh everyone needs redemption. I wish Bam a healthy sober life.
Coming back here, it's bittersweet. Hoping Bam can stay on the right path
Bam's gotta drop the persona, he's still living his 20's in his mind. Love the guy and wish him the best.
Im so happy to see Bam doing this well, I really hope he cans keep it up, we need you Bam it’s not your time yet
This is from 2021...
I knew he would find his way. I'm so fkn happy to see bam being himself like this. I pray for him and his family especially ape and Phil.
I will always be rooting for BAM in general. It's good to see him doing well.
Something about this is so sad to me bc those days were amazing watching viva la bam when i was younger
You could really tell it's aching inside of him that those times are over and its time to move on
Being stuck in the past aint good for his mental health, everyone else is either moved on or gone and you are just there all alone.. speaking from experience.

Oof got em
No way, really?

I swear he doesn’t even talk to Brandon anymore
Damn, I thought it was recent. I've heard Ba. Is doing better tho. I hope so
It was around January 2003 at around 8am.
Atta Boy Bam Bam. Your looking good dude 💫
Looks like he's doing fine to me. Maintain it Bam! Been a fan of yours for decades. You got this bro, just maintain it.
I remember being a little skater punk watching viva la bam, now I’m a dad with a mortgage watching this, absolutely wild.
Right!!!! I even made myself a Viva La (with my nickname) shirt for my senior trip lol
Getting older is weird af. It turns into less about living in the moment and more about talking about old times. Wish someone told me to enjoy my youth more
That's true for people who stop being productive and creating new experiences
Steve o and Knoxville talk about what they're doing
Bam talks about what he's done
@@sixty-nine3574 after Dunn died Bam was never the same. I lost my best friend when I was 18 due to him overdosing so I relate to Bam but at some point you’re right man. Life moves on and you gotta get on with it. Thanks for the advice bro much appreciated.
To be young again, they were a big part of my life. I wish nothing but the best for them.
I was watching every moment they were talking about in this video, throughout my childhood I watched them do all of this.
So happy to see Bam and Novak on good terms and creating content together

@@austinbridge oh well then shiiit lol..my had
As someone from Philly in recovery from addiction, it makes me so happy to see BAM like this.
Loser 😂
So happy to hear he is 120 days sober now. If he can do it, then so can I! Starting now.
We're rooting for you Bam! You've inspired so many of us even without meaning too. You gotta pull through this man, we all really love you bro!
I'm so happy to see him doing well. He and the others brought so many laughs to our generation.
This is the Bam i remember. Good to see
I know this is over 2 years ago, but Bam looks great! The best I've seen him in a very long time. I'm always rooting for him to find his way. Love ya, Bam!!
I love Bam he’s got such a good heart and soul, I pray he finds what he needs to stay and be happy for the rest of his years to come. I pray he’s able to surround himself with only positive people who don’t suck him dry and bring him down. Stay away Bam, from anyone trying to deceive and destroy you brother! Much love and respect, a fan!
Anyone else kinda get classic MTV Cribs vibes from this? Of course they were missing the animations and transitions but especially that ending reminded me so much of the golden era of MTV... Glad to see Ban sober. I battled the opiate demon and I've been sober for 5 years now so I know how tough it can be to stay sober. Keep it up Bam
It’s the craziest thing, watching the drone footage at the beginning, flying over Bam’s property, remembering all of the craziness from the past like the Treetop Casino, Miniature golf episode, Bam’s Uncivil War, etc. So many memories!
I love how enthusiastic Bam is telling about the castle and everything
I just want to give him The Biggest Hug. I'm 62. I remember watching him on Viva LA Bam ,...so loving that show,..."What will he do next?" ,...Whatever the f I want!"😅
Fall and rise fall and rise. Don’t quit trying Bam get back on the board
I applauded you both for coming together and reuniting your friendship. If Bam can be his own man, he will continue to do well.
Dudes gone through life and has ups and downs like everyone else . I am a fan of him and his work and will always be a fan . Still a mentor and always will be . Proud of you bam!
Bam definitely has more people rooting for him then anyone else in history. I was 10 in 2000 and bam changed the world . We wrecked shit ! But then we grew up . Everyone that hates on bam still loves him deep inside.
One day everyone will get there. One day all the guys will be long into their sobriety, swapping stories as old men. That’s what I pray for. I know there’s gonna be someone missing, forever. But.. I can’t wait to see these guys enjoying their life and sobriety together as buddies again. Phoenix needs his dad!
Imagine if Bam had all his old episodes re-uploaded in 4k!! I'd binge watch for days.
Had a rough day today but seeing these 2 together again, happy and sober really made me smile. Godspeed boys ✌️❤️
I just love Bam. Always rooting for him to find his peace & purpose in life again♥️
hope these guys know how much joy they’ve brought to us all over the years, nothing but love for these guys.
miss ya too ryan ❤
Good to see Bam and Novac in contact again. Brandon is a great advocate for sobriety and a great friend with shared trauma. Loved this.
I always root for Bam, he has so many supporters, life is a roller coaster.
Honestly it felt like god had given me a second chance when i got off opiates, benzos and alcohol and life seems so much better on the sobriety side im so grateful and thankful, obviously i knew brandon was sober but it was such a shock to see bam like this! Im overjoyed and i pray that he stays like this he seems to be funtioning better!
We love you BAM! You have been important to myself and a lot of peoples upbringing. We only want to see you healthy and happy. Keep kicking ass and pushing forward!
This is amazing to see as someone who is now 36 y/o and grew up on watching Jackass, viva la bam and the jackass movies. Bam Should be sober for about 4 months now as we speak which is an amazing achievement. Let's hope one day he and Steve, Johnny and Jeff will rejoice one day.
To have a friendship as strong as that is magical. Also, Viva La Bam 2... rock n roll.
