    Kraków Station really looks a bit like a shopping center :D The trains seems to be great though, I'll add it to my list!

      Shopping centre being part of the station is a big plus. Sometime on the interchanges and station being in the middle of nowhere, it is hard to re-stock :) especially if there is no restaurant on board.

    Flying to Krakow in two weeks time. Destination point - Gdansk. But we gonna use day train IC Pendolino, just over 5 hours journey.

      Enjoy both cities. After this train I took Pendolino back from Gdańsk to Warsaw.

    The names of the wagons are read with the number next to the first letter, e.g. not Bnouz, but B10Nouz.

      Thanks for the recommendation. Wow, that is almost 9 hours long journey. I'm hoping to be back to Poland this winter, got two trains on a list already.

      @@Europe-By-Trainthere is a second option, i.e. test the fast urban railway in Warsaw to Otwock and from there go to Hel because these trains do not travel at night so there is no sleeper car and the journey takes about 7 hours

    You have traveled near the biggest medieval Malbork castle (also called Marienburg) in Poland and you didn’t know about it! 😅

    I wonder what a "scenic night train" can offer you to see 🙂

      Watch it and you will see 😊 If you wake up earlier, there are places to see at sunrise or even later.

      @@Europe-By-Train I did whatch it indeed. The first part wasn't too interesting, we've got too much of the Krakow station. The second half was better, not too scenic, but many railway stuff. Thanks. Your bed looked too narrow for me with the folded bunk holding up space. With no shower and no breakfast perhaps a first class seat would have been better for a cheaper fare?

    • @Europe-By-Train
      @Europe-By-Train  3 месяца назад +1

      Thanks for your feedback. Yes, the bed was too narrow, but I wouldn't change for a seat, as I wouldn't be able too sleep at all. If a seat, then even early morning connection is better for me. I don't know how people get a proper sleep without a bed 😅
