Great video! Just like a visit on your farm. I picture Hilary putting a pot of coffee on in the kitchen, while you're on the tractor! Thanks for the visit!
Another great video, Pete! I just saw "Miller - Larson" atop your barn. As a "Miller" myself, I naturally am curious if this is your spouse's maiden name or another genaological line in your family.
"Carrie" burgers. Not only naming them, honors the animal upon which you are about to feast, but I also found it was easier to bring them into the pen for the coup de grace.
Today’s episode felt like a Haiku poem. I really appreciated your gratitude to Cary for the sacrifice she made to nourish your family - I think it’s easier to make the connection when you raise your own animals.
Wow. Such a well made, tasteful, almost artist film of farm life. Pete, I do believe this is the most beautiful video of yours yet. So deep, simple and sincere. You are an old soul, my friend. Sometimes a soul can say a lot without saying much at all. March may be a tough month... but Spring is fast approaching. Life is so incredibly good... even when it's tough, huh. Thank you for sharing all that quiet beauty from your soul. Keep going, Pete. Keep inspiring and making us smile and wanting to hug you.
You two turn into snow birds and head down south for some Vit.D , digging your toes in the warm sand on a tropical beach and sipping down a Margarita. All the snow turns to sand you're waiting for the tide to come in. Sometimes, just the visualisation is all that is needed beside some Jamaican Songs of Caribbean to lift the cold doldrums of the cold March Madness.
Mowing the lawn and plowing snow may seem unproductive. But for folks like me who just enjoy playing with the old equipment it's a real thrill! Keep up the great work. 👍
I did enjoy the snow plowing and the pictures. Though your mood seemed a little somber, I get it. Very peaceful ending to the video. Hopefully all is well with you and your family. Praying for you as always. Thanks for sharing and have a great day.
Thanks for another great video Pete. We also had a blizzard blow in last week so more plowing snow even here in Sweden. I’m also quite tired of winter to be honest. But watching your video made me think of a quote by Albert Camus: In the midst of winter I found out here was Within me An invincible summer Hope you have a great day.
I burst out laughing at the “piggers” reactions from you going by them with the little B snow plow. Oh they were so warm & comfortable in what was left of their bale bomb. And then they were so abruptly rousted out into the cold cruel March winds. Animals are just so much fun to watch & learn from. Thank you Pete for all your hard work making and editing and posting your great content. Spring is coming and the season cycle begins all over again. Hallelujah!
Pete, thanks for sharing your snow plowing chore with us. Yes, March can be a tough month as it transitions into more sun and longer daylight. Blessings to you and Hillary.
This segment makes me stop and ponder what generations such as your great-great-grand parents endured, all without the same resources, yet they gave us a legacy to continue. Quite a sobering content “White March”ended up to be. Thank you Pete.
Haven't had to deal with enough snow to plow, here on Maryland's Eastern Shore, for about 5 years. But that doesn't mean that I have forgotten. Peace, safety and good wishes for you and your family.
Thus is one of your best video's, why you ask , the simplicity of nature, animals, your land. I love your place not to big not too small. ❤️ Thank-you for having me and others see your beautiful environment!! Blessings 🙌 always. Marion
Spring Can't come sooner! Pete I have to be honest, I don't know whos more excited for your barn renovation project. You, or the rest of us glad to not watch you push a wheel barrel of pig poo anymore! Hahaha all the best buddy
Hi Pete, it sure is a beautiful spot you have there, can see why all your generations ago they chose to set a peg right there !!🏠🏡 like you we have had a lot more snow this year ( we are in the higlands of Scotland, we hit the early retirement button and moved from Oxfordshire nearky 2 years ago !! ) and everyone is saying this winter has been longer and more of a challenge than recent years 🤷♀️ We raised 4 Kune Kune pigs for our table Albus Dumbleboar Rubeous Hogrid Ron Weezley and of course Harry Trotter we named them as you said you honour their time with you and remember them with such fondness and good flavours too 👍🏻 keep smiling xx Andy & Jenny Martin
A picture is worth a thousand words... You're getting really good at this, Pete! The guys agree, for sure. They caught the little Hilarie cameo with the snow shovel, too. We're planting tomatoes, peppers and basil today in soil blocks under the lights. It's Coming....🙂
March can be sad, can be bad, can be happy, or just a bore. The great news is that it will be over, and April will be here. That is truly the start of the new year. Thank you for your videos. They help me thru the down times. think of all the people your efforts have blessed.
Hang in there Pete, winter is coming to an end soon . We look forward to all your videos and like that they change from daily routines to tractor rebuilds and back again. Someday we will drive down and visit you at the market and shake your hand. Your videos give us a lot enjoyment and our granddaughter loves when you show the pigs. She is only 3 but asks to watch Pete!
I liked the tone of today's video. Just seemed to be serene and relaxed to me. Sometimes you just gotta slow down and enjoy the scenery. I'm guessing many missed the joke about the birds in the barn, but I got it. Pete has a special app he uses for bird names and temperature conversions. Heh. Keep on being Pete. :)
This is the time of year that really makes me appreciate spring and summer. The nice lady on our Cleveland channel said we should be getting another 13 or so inches of snow this year, and I think she is going to be right. But I am sure we can make it through to better weather. weather.
Hey Pete…. Man, what awesome beauty that place is. You have all the fun toys too! I could come play at your house if it wasn’t so dang far away. I love the animals, tractors, snow, weather, …
I have learned so much about farm animals from you. Just keep on giving us such great videos. So Sorry about Carrie. It's a sad thing about pets is that they usually go before us. Blessings...
Dear Pete, you are a contemplative man. Well, I grant you plowing snow might seem like a waste of time, you are surrounded by beauty of nature. When I see the sign over your garage that says 1804 to 2004 and that’s 200 years plus a family history, I can’t help but think how proud your ancestors are of you. I am sure there were times when you feel like you have the weight of the world on your shoulders, but I assure you that ultimately, you are the master of your own destiny. I see how the animals respond to you and how you respond to them. There’s a wonderful harmony to it, And the good news is spring is right around the corner! Thank you for sharing your March snow storm with us. ❤
Hang in there! March is my favorite month. It’s a mixed, volatile bag of surprises. It could be tshirt one day and winter storm the next. Winter is leaving!
The annual snow plowing video I always wait for! Of course, I realize we didn't get any significant snow until mid March this year. I just love Farmall snow plowing videos! FF on his Cub earlier this week and now Pete on the Super A. I am happy, happy, happy!
That video could not have been any better!! Totally from the heart! I've been laid up form surgery for a while an just been living on yours videos.. Timing is / was perfect. Absolutely love the tribute to the meat donor.. I get it and love it!! God bless you sir.. Anyone that doesn't like just looking at old farm machinery just doesn't get it. Spring will come, always does, just have to do what you you've always done, Soon enough you'll be a busy as Ezsra ( the cat) covering up.. well you know.. haha all My best...
Ah, the feeling of a simpler time. I really enjoy spending a beautiful morning thru the eyes of our favorite guy Pete. It's so fun to ride along on the fender of the tractor with Pete.kinda like when I was 6 years old holding on the fender riding along with Dad
Well it looks like you have the same March "Mellows" we all get this time of the year. we just went through our biggest snowstorm of the season. yep! and it had to wait until the "March Mellow" to dump 30 inches of snow on me and my surroundings!. Birch trees in the back yard are bent over touching the roof of the house. only good news is the temps are over 30 today and its melting!. and we have some warm temps tomorrow and rain so that will help. At least your kids are old enough to know and appreciate your sentiments. Mine were too young and they cried when I told them we were eating Rosy. Bad mistake on my part. live and learn I guess. thanks Pete for sharing and Cary burgers looked really really!! good! ECF
Pete, judging from the filmography you did for this video you might have missed your calling, because the scenes you captured were so beautiful and peaceful. Sometimes there is no need for words and this was one of those times, and words can even spoil a video like this. Thank you for this. It was so peaceful and serene and beautiful.
Missed the dramatic music this time! Always look forward to your snow plowing! Take heart Pete, spring is coming! Soon new calves, green grass and baby chicks! Love your videos! Thank you for sharing your life!
Beautiful video. Thank you for sharing ❤. So much to feel grateful about. The lovely sounds of your farm. The views of the snowy fields and home. The food Carrie provided. We had a sunny day in Oregon. The warmth was welcome.
That's a really awesome Snowplow setup! @4:58 it would make a beautiful picture for greeting card, calendar..... God bless you and your family! Be well stay safe

I think you are kidding with the sad face .. such fun plowing with old tractor .. piggies cute .. cows sweet .. snow beautiful and will be good for spring grass and gardens :) and of course the wonderful burgers from your very own dear cow
March is the month of turmoils and so every year since 2011. But looking at the weather and scenery in the video. There is a calm in it like taking a well deserved break from life itself.
Hang in there, Pete. I can relate to March being a difficult month. I'm just so over this cold and gloomy weather. I'm ready for longer days and warmer temperatures so I can get outside and do my yard work. Yard work makes me happy... Being cooped up in the house does not. Yes, yes... I feel ya.
Excellent video Pete :) yes March been tough for me recently too and Happy St. PATRICK'S DAY March 17 2023 to you in all families & friends to hope have excellent one too!
You guys have had a lot of snow this year! Our kids live just outside of Ithaca like you and every time I look at the weather for Ithaca it seems like it's snowing. I tell them they're living in Narnia. Any way we can find to love and honor the animals who are a part of our lives and serve us is a noble, life-giving, -honoring act, Pete. I am always grateful for your sensibilities about those things. Spring will be all the more precious this year for all the snow you guys have had! Best always to you, Hilarie and the kids!
Cheer up Pete. I think they were Brown faced warbelating tree skippers from South America. They're a sure sign that Springs around the corner. Soon we'll be seeing the Black toed whistling dwelling diggers too. Love your videos. Have a great day
Plowing and mowing are productive and beneficial. You get a clean driveway and a nice looking lawn out of the deal! Lol ! Always love watching your videos Pete. Thank you!!!
Spring is coming Pete , if it makes you feel any better we’re just going into fall. Sigh our days of summer are numbered and jumpers and jeans are back out, not looking forward to winter at all this year. Hope y’all feel better soon ❤
When it comes to weather March can always be full of surprises... It is March 16th today... We have a storm coming in that could dumped 18 inches of wet heavy snow
I feel the same way, so so for the month of March! I didn't have your snow but it does get old dealing with the rain and mud and being stuck inside waiting for the warm spring days. The Farmall A did a nice job with the snow, like the little blade on the front. Thanks Pete, have a good Friday.
I just discovered these amazing videos from Mr Pete. So wonderful to see that the farm is sustainable for all these generations. Thank you for sharing ❤
I noticed the tractor with a slight miss when she came out the shed. I thought it may be a slight ignition trouble, but as it went on you could tell the carb was getting more and more clogged. More wrenching videos to come! Have a great day always Pete. We love your videos. North Chesterfield VA. -Kenny & Linda ❤
I live in Minnesota, as I could skip spring and go straight into summer!! I honestly can't wait till the ice is off the lakes, grass growing, haying the back fields
Great episode Pete, hope you’re ok? You seem somewhat down in the dumps? Spring will soon be upon us my friend, much love 💙🇬🇧.
Great video! Just like a visit on your farm. I picture Hilary putting a pot of coffee on in the kitchen, while you're on the tractor!
Thanks for the visit!
I saw someone with a shovel in their hands. Thought it might have been Hilary.
Consider some cannabis in March Pete you’ll 😂 be glad ya did
Another great video, Pete!
Love the smile at 3:01 - you can't keep a good man's soul from shining!
Today’s episode felt like a Haiku poem. I really appreciated your gratitude to Cary for the sacrifice she made to nourish your family - I think it’s easier to make the connection when you raise your own animals.
Reminded me of the old Sunday Morning with Charles Kuralt.
I just realized that’s it’s fun to watch other people clear snow….I’ll just sit here in my warm chair 😂
Wow. Such a well made, tasteful, almost artist film of farm life. Pete, I do believe this is the most beautiful video of yours yet. So deep, simple and sincere. You are an old soul, my friend. Those carrie burgers look some delicious!!!!!.....
We don't say it much but we really love you. You're a great man.
The look of joy on your face when you started the tractor, made my day. Thanks
The intro of this video was great. Mother nature at its best.
Mowing the lawn and plowing snow may seem unproductive. But for folks like me who just enjoy playing with the old equipment it's a real thrill! Keep up the great work. 👍
Love it, Pete. The silence in the beginning. The silence. So nice.
Morning coffee with Pete. What a great way to start the day!!!
There's something mesmerizing watching you push snow with that old tractor.
I live vicariously through these videos. Thank you, Pete!
Skooisisisiwwowo❤🎉😂😢😮😅😊
Love the sound of snow crunching under your boots.
The best part of this time of year is NY is that the snow will most likely be gone a week later!😂😂😂
There is just something heartwarming about a passle of pigs laying, sleeping in the sunshine...
Good morning Mr Pete!! We love watching your videos!! Great job!!
Me too, I am impressed by the work that he completes on his farm. They are always finished to perfection.
That thumbnail, pretty as a picture.
Always like stopping by to see Pete’s videos,
Here in Wisconsin I'm getting more winter in March than all of the winter months!
Spring is just around the corner Pete! 🐊🏌🦅🇺🇸⛳️❤️
I did enjoy the snow plowing and the pictures. Though your mood seemed a little somber, I get it. Very peaceful ending to the video. Hopefully all is well with you and your family. Praying for you as always. Thanks for sharing and have a great day.

Excellent Vihelm! Thanks, from western Massachusetts USA :-)
Nice artistic rendition of March. I spent the whole month looking forward to April's trout opener...

Pete, thanks for sharing your snow plowing chore with us. Yes, March can be a tough month as it transitions into more sun and longer daylight. Blessings to you and Hillary.
The fact you restore your tractors to show room quality and then use them is satisfying.
This segment makes me stop and ponder what generations such as your great-great-grand parents endured, all without the same resources, yet they gave us a legacy to continue. Quite a sobering content “White March”ended up to be. Thank you Pete.
I hope you feel the sunshine soon. We love your channel and hope you are doing good.
There is something so satisfying about watch ing someone remove snow. You did a good job. Hope you enjoyed your burgers.
I just love these videos of the quiet and yet sometimes noisy farm sounds. Thank you for sharing these moments with us Pete!
Haven't had to deal with enough snow to plow, here on Maryland's Eastern Shore, for about 5 years. But that doesn't mean that I have forgotten. Peace, safety and good wishes for you and your family.
No time wasted on Pete's side of plowing😉
Hello Peter. Beautiful snowfall. Those burgers look really good. Enjoy them. And take a 20 minute- snooze. Be well.😁🐮🐷🐔
Watching you move all that snow, I am thinking what a godsend that tractor must be! Not an easy job to do! 👍👍👍
Thus is one of your best video's, why you ask , the simplicity of nature, animals, your land. I love your place not to big not too small. ❤️
Thank-you for having me and others see your beautiful environment!! Blessings 🙌 always. Marion
Late winter snow. Like an unwanted visitor. The sooner they go the better. Thanks for the video. All the best 🇬🇧.
Howdy Pete. March brings some wonderful days and some bleak days. But Spring is here and brighter days are close!

Spring Can't come sooner! Pete I have to be honest, I don't know whos more excited for your barn renovation project. You, or the rest of us glad to not watch you push a wheel barrel of pig poo anymore! Hahaha all the best buddy
I have news of that that I need to get to. We've changed the work dramatically, to reflect a new attitude about raising brood pigs.
@@JustaFewAcresFarm Looking forward to the announcement!

Loved how you did this one, appreciate how you approach life and the farm. Keep it up. GO BLUE
Pete, judging from the filmography you did for this video you might have missed your calling, because the scenes you captured were so beautiful and peaceful. Sometimes there is no need for words and this was one of those times, and words can even spoil a video like this. Thank you for this. It was so peaceful and serene and beautiful.
Silence is golden...peace and calm...
March CAN be a tough month. Agreed. 🖖✌️

Be well stay safe
Hang in there Pete! Hay weather around the corner!
Your video essay shows the beauty and nuisance of winter snow. MARCH is a time of waiting. A time repetition. It is lent for many. A time to focus, reflect, plan changes and work the plan. Spring claims to be ahead. My Maryland crocus, jonquils and forsythia are in bloom. We will all be reborn with the warmth of Spring.
Spring is literally next week, and April will be here in about two weeks. Chin up!! You've gotten through the worst of winter!
Hang in there, Pete. I can relate to March being a difficult month. I'm just so over this cold and gloomy weather. I'm ready for longer days and warmer temperatures so I can get outside and do my yard work. Yard work makes me happy... Being cooped up in the house does not. Yes, yes... I feel ya.

My Dad always called late snowfalls "poor man's fertilizer".
Your comments were spot on. 🤣 beautifully done and loved watching it from inside a warm house.
Let's see the carb rebuild! Loved the over the shoulder can toss, btw. 😁😁
I feel the same way, so so for the month of March! I didn't have your snow but it does get old dealing with the rain and mud and being stuck inside waiting for the warm spring days. The Farmall A did a nice job with the snow, like the little blade on the front. Thanks Pete, have a good Friday.
The Hummingbirds are back here enjoying their sugar water and finch are showing up.
