@@ladyandtheramp Pretty close I’m sure. However there was a video floating around years ago showing a guy de-ice a plane in a glorified ‘cherry picker’ or bucket truck. No enclosed cab. He was covered in the solution and it was howling cold and snowing hard. Looked very unfun..I’ll try and find it.
@ladyandtheramp yea sure did freeze but got use to it and normally wore extra layers. Yea especially when the wind shifted or the MD80s APU was running so the exhaust was right below the tail and rudder facing up at an angle.
? The Embraer is one of if not the safest narrows body aircraft you could possibly fly. Just say you don’t know anything about aviation and move on. Embraer as a company is great and they make great aircraft
