Agree completely, was shouting at the screen, why aren't they going for 2? You want Bo Nix to go toe to toe w Burrow, Chase and Higgins in OT? Terrible situation.

With that being said we expect a lot from the rookie and I think it’s easy to forget he is in fact a rookie. He’s learning and improving but Broncos fans are finally getting used to winning again. Go Broncos

Vance Joseph has been running the identical inept prevent Zone style defense for the past four games!! The question is what is making him think that he should continue utilizing that offense when it has been gashed for over 1,700 yards in four games. Handing teams 10 yards for free on every play is the exact method that Mike Shanahan used on his last few years!! Denver would get up in almost every game and the defense would play the exact same style that Vance Joseph is calling now and the teams would slowly crawl their way back in and beat us!! It is truly causing flashbacks seeing Vance Joseph do the exact same thing that caused strokes and aneurysms across the Denver fan base for years
I can't believe they couldn't get ONE first down in OT especially down there at the end. Broncos really need an upgrade at safety as well they looked lost out there.
Let's just summarize to the fact that we ran the ball extremely well tonight and we should have focused on getting first downs after first downs methodically eating the clock and scoring. We completely blew four points on our first drive! When he called the fade to Courtland Sutton in the corner of the End Zone it was 3rd and 2!! We needed two yards for a first down and we throw a fade to the corner of the end zone? We should have ran the ball for 2 yards and got four more chances at the end zone and 7 points! The same thing on the second drive in overtime when we're complaining about bo nix missing Troy Franklin on the Deep route! First of all Troy Franklin slowed in his initial takeoff but that play should have also never been called! The main goal should have been methodical first downs eating clock and moving down the field not wasting a complete Drive!! We should have simply ran the ball and got first downs and moved the ball down the field and we wouldn't have had to try and hit Troy Franklin on that route!! The idea that Sean Payton was too conservative tonight is the opposite of reality! He was too aggressive when he should have used the Run game when it was working!
The screen pass on 2nd and long was terrible. Jaleel should have ran the ball there or even let Bo Nix run it. I just wanted Lutz to have a chance to kick a field goal for the win.
It’s very clear Sean Payton is not good at game planning or calling plays… Week after week it’s more apparent… In addition, not going for 2 was pure insanity. Denver fans deserve better.
Sean Payton sucks! He cost us two weeks in a row with horrendous coaching! Wake up! Coaching loss, plain and simple! Sean is a Super Bowl winner because he had an amazing QB. That is the only reason, his coaching has never teetered over mediocrity! Total clown!

I agree 💯 Sayre on your take "it's the defense that's wetting the 🛏️" it's great to have 7 sacks but when you give up a conversion on 3rd & long right after a sack several times does the sacks really matter in the end?
Which is why only 3rd or 4th down sacks really matter. Get those and celebrate. Get a sack on 1st or 2nd down - go line up again and don't do any kind of dance.
I don’t get why we called timeout on the Bengals second drive of ot? If they scored it was over, we didn’t need time to go score if we got the ball back. Maybe the defense needed to catch their breath or something, but it seemed odd.
Couple points Bo Nix has to get better in the pocket. To much bailing clean pockets. Sean Keeps abandoning the run game and outsmarting himself. Vance the the Pass Coverage has been poor since the Cleveland game. No one is making plays and I’m not talking turnovers. No PDs from anyone but Pat. And no help from the LBs in coverage. This is where the dead cap hurts. Lastly it’s easy to see how young this teams is. And the coaching has to be better to put these guys in better positions.
This game was lost because of rediculous play calling offensive and defensively!! 1st offensive drive, 3 and 2 and Sean calls a corner fade to Sutton rather than simply getting 2 yards and providing us 1st and goal!! We should have had 7 not 3 on the first drive!! Sean Payton threw away multiple 3rd Downs that could have easily been turned into first downs instead opting to go deep for Troy Franklin on our second possession in overtime on third down! What a massive mistake!! Those two drives alone are responsible for the loss
The Bengals head coach outsmarted himself by going for it on 4th down twice rather than kicking the FG. Plus Chase uncharacteristically dropped an easy TD. The Bengals could've easily been up 17-7 (assuming Broncos scored the first TD) instead of 7-3 at halftime.
I couldn't believe that he didn't just go for the first down on that 3rd and two, either! 💯 I was vocally swearing at that play call! You got to got look for the first down there. I'm legit surprised at the bad decisions. We've worn out that screen for the most part too.
Great ahow boys Man, that was a tough loss. So many things ro be nervous about going into the final game vs KC. Ultimately, the season is a success. Bo is awesome. We have our qb, and there is plenty to be excited about with this team, especially the youth. Though the team over achived the national narrative, i think its a huge disappointment and colossal meltdown if we miss the playoffs (after having a 91 % chance to get in). KC will start all their guys and be out to beat us next week, to knock us out the playoffs. Feel like this team is on a slide
Kinda surprised nix and Franklin havnt been able to connect deeply. would have thought they would be deadly. And oh gosh that play calling in OT was disastrous. Plain and simple if we some how don't make the playoffs it would be the biggest catastrophic meltdown I've ever seen.

Y'all remember that song "everybody hurts"? I think it's an REM song. Well that's all of us in Broncos country tonight 🫤 idc about analysis or any of that crap. They just needed to find a way to win that game!
Forreal. I feel like telling everyone in Broncos Country including myself "I'm sorry for your loss". Because I know our hearts are breaking as the Broncos' playoff hopes DIE.
That Screen Pass in OT was terrible, I wanted to see a run play there instead. If we got Lutz into range for a 45-50 yard field goal the game ends in a 27-24 win for the Broncos.
Who Dey good game Bronco fans y'all still have a great and upcoming team, honestly if y'all had went for the 2 point conversion we probably would've lost because you guys had the momentum but at the same time the Bengals lost a game this year also trying to go for a 2 pt conversion earlier this year
I agree that it's much more on the defense than Bo. He missed some huge opportunities but in his defense he did have 3 amazing touchdowns. Y'all right, they are putting so much pressure on him because he's not getting enough help. Coaching not helping, coaching not helping with a run game, defense not holding up their end. I know I expect him to be Peyton Manning in these situations because he has been so good this year. However I (and prolly some other folks too) have to stop and realize that he is still a ROOKIE.
Totally agree. This loss is squarely on Sean Payton. Denver should have gone for two. Denver's defense had played a very good game - and had stopped Cincy cold on two drives. Then Surtain forced a fumble - so on three drives Denver's defense stopped the Bengals. Yet, despite this, Denver's defense had been on the field much too long -- and were tired. Overtime favored the hot passer (Burrow). This explains the situation with seconds to play. The smart move was to go for two and win it in regulation. Bo was playing loose after making an incredible pass to Mims for a TD. You have to wonder: has Payton lost the hunger to win a SB? It takes nerve. And I have another beef. How many times have we seen Payton give up on the run game? It happened again yesterday. After two years Payton has failed to commit to a run game. I hope the owners are onto this. I'd love to see them recruit Kyle Shanahan to come to Denver and install his terrific run scheme. Kyle has fallen just short of a SB and still has the hunger. Bo will never be a pass first QB. But is perfect for a balanced run to pass scheme.
Let’s just be honest about one thing here. No one, and I do mean no one would have expected Bo Nix of being able to have a shootout against Joe Burrow. Not only did he go TD for TD with JB he did so without the same amount of clear weapons in his arsenal. That was a defining factor in the outcome of that game. Mixed in with some very suspect ref calls and some questionable play calls on both sides of the ball on the Broncos sideline.
The broncos just lost this game we’ve seen this same story last week vs the chargers. Bo Nix could’ve hit Franklin to seal it or the broncos could have executed on offense after that missed kick. The Bengals deserved to win today
It's easy to say now that the Broncos should have went for two now that it's over but the Broncos got the ball back twice and didn't do nothing with it. The Broncos ran the ball a lot today more than any other game I can remember. Estime is not the answer at RB. McLaughlin is good but he's just too small. This is another game where the offense scores 24 or more points and still lose. This loss is on the defense. They gave up 412 passing yards and no punts until overtime is crazy. Riley Moss played like Levi Wallace today. You don't forget how to play CB because you miss 3 weeks. Like Higgins is in the corner of the endzone with nowhere to go. Turn around and find the ball in the air. If he was supposedly still injured like some people are saying then they could have put KAD in the game. Strnad, P.J. Locke and Barton have to go. Strnad can't tackle to save his life and Locke can't cover anyone.
Curious stat: In the last 2 games Broncos opponents have had exactly 5 penalties total. 2 vs LA and 3 vs Cincinnati 😮 and Cincinnati had 5 first downs via penalty tonight 😮 makes ya wonder 🤔
The defense has regressed this whole month, back in Sept-Nov the defense was ranked top 5 total and since then we allowed 500 yards net against the Browns and Bengals. Moss was not 100% and Burrow had no problem throwing the ball at him. The offense in OT only 6 yards smh. That I blame and the defense.
If i was a media member i would have asked Payton at what point do you have to acknowledge if you are going to win the game you are going to have to win it with your offense? He didn’t manage the game worth a crap. I would’ve also gone for two under what scenario did he think his defense was ever going to get a stop in overtime?
If Sean Payton would have got a first down on our first offensive Drive instead of throwing the ball to Sutton in the corner it wouldn't have been 17-17 it would have been 21-17
I wonder if Bo's arm is actually stronger than in college? Training, etc.? and so he's had a bit of trouble retraining the muscle memory he developed with Troy in college? Or just a different level of intensity has changed the equation.
To be fair yes the defense has been an issue overall , however the defense made two stops back to back stops on 4th down. Held the #1 Offense to 7 first half points . Forced a turnover and made a stop in OT. Offense had zero points from those plays combined. That’s not entirely on Bo Nix because how does Jaleel consistently get removed from the second hall game plan?
Bottom line is this. Whatever coaching decisions were made the Broncos had a number of opportunities to win. Cash in on one of those opportunities with a TD, and Denver wins. Joe Burrow is a great quarterback, but even with the damage he did, the Denver offense is not finishing games the last couple weeks. What if Denver doesn't get the 2 point conversion. It happens. Then Coach is getting ripped for coming up short. I hear the frustration, and I understand momentum and the game. Hard to say what the right decision would have been, but here we are. It's a one and done situation for Denver now, and I Bo lieve this team will play hard and smart, finish the game and capitalize on the majority of their opportunities, and beat the Chiefs to get into the playoffs. This team can do it. GO BRONCOS!!Great show.
What are you guys calling conservative? Sean Payton should have never thrown the ball on 3rd and 2 in our first offensive Drive! We should have got the first down and scored a touchdown not a field goal
Terrible coaching. We can't stop a nosebleed. We cannot move the ball. We cannot cover anybody effectively. We cannot get JUST ONE FIRST DOWN TO GO TO THE PLAYOFFS. Can't hit open receivers. Can't capitalize when Bengals miss a FG at point blank range. We had a hundred opportunities to win this game but apparently the broncos didn't want it. This has been just disgusting. I've been supporting this team for 25 years but I don't think I can deal with these emotional disappointments anymore. Honestly I hope KC stomps us because it is what the broncos deserve at this point.
The runs up the middle get too predictable in those situations. There were too many screens, too. I agree with playing for overtime but, at the same time, would have been fine with going for 2. Bo missed three key passes and also made some awesome throws, like a great rookie can. The worst situation was not calling the right plays on the last procession of OT. I was not impressed in this game with Sean's play calling and some games this season I have been very impressed.
This loss is on coaching. Bo missed a few throws, but none of his mistakes were as bad as the coaching. Why does it seem like every time the broncos need a play on offensive or defensive, they make the wrong play call.
Bo didn’t make a bad decision on the INT his arm got clipped watch the replay his hand and wrist got slapped and mid angled the throw He made same fhrow multiple times this year
Cody is frustrating me tonight by claiming Sean Payton was overly conservative when he should have actually been more conservative and ran the ball. Multiple third Downs could have resulted in first downs, more time off the clock and four more trees at getting seven
Nobody's coddling him lol. He's been pretty good all season long. He had a bad game. That hasn't been a consistent trend so I don't know why you're reaching.
@LockedOnBroncos he started the season off this way... only difference is people kept giving him passes when he got torched "oh but at least he's close in coverage" was the saying for him all year. Shits despicable
I hate fandom so much sometimes. I want to win too....I get it. This team wasn't even projected to win 6 games, and after the first 2 games, 6 wins looked generous. From the dolphins game last year to now this team had done a complete 180. We have a rookie QB and the largest dead cap the NFL has ever seen. We will be better next year. This team, especially the offense, is not complete. Not even close. This was never a Superbowl roster. Has it been perfect? No. Does Sean Payton make boneheaded decisions in game? Yes. I'm watching the games as well.....but we lost to two very good QB's. Possibly 2 future HOF's. We didn't lose to some back-up caliber QB'S. Football is won IN STEPS. THIS IS STEP ONE PPL. WE'RE FINALLY OUT OF THE ASS END OF THE POOL. Let's give it some time before we take out our pitch forks and run these coaches out of town. Success isn't built overnight.
Well... PS2 is a god and will cover everyone LMAO! The defense has been great, they are NOT GOOD NOW THO!! Way too many yards (ground / air) given up! Great to see Riley Moss
Man. People have short memories. Did anyone really think the Broncos would be in a position to make the playoffs at this point in the season? I agree, this loss is on Payton but he has changed the culture of the team and he drafted a franchise quarterback. The Broncos went toe to toe with a team looking at the end of their season, in their house and is better than their record. Dixon hasn’t played in a month. I am happy with the season. A couple more offensive weapons and Denver will be formidable. As my dad used to say, “Enjoy the process.”
Sure, future looks bright. We have our qb, and over achieved. But with results by the middle of the season, the bar was raised. And there is nothing wrong with expectations being raised with the results. The season is a success due to having solidified our future qb. But, that does not mean it is not a colossal collapse and utter disappointment missing the playoffs (as I think we'll likely lose to the chefs)
@@rowdystaudi good point. Won’t disagree. The game I knew we had to win was the chargers game. I lowered my expectations after that game. And yes, I will be surprised, but think that we can, beat the chiefs. Although at the same I’ll take the draft pick, we need it.
What I saw today was basically, Sean Payton trying to catch-up to the modern day --- NFL football coaching level... To me, it seems that he hasn't humbled himself with the, "I'm the smartest man in the room" mentality... I honestly think he should have an assistant that's "outside of the fishbowl" giving him a different perspective during the game. In the defensive coach dance Joseph seems to not know enough about his defensive players to make the proper adjustments in the second half... And moreover, Sean Payton has to stick with one running back for them to get their rhythm. You want the hot hand, then stick with that hot hand for that game!
Sean Payton can't get a FIRST DOWN in OT - Bronco Crazy Fanatics "What is Vance Joseph DOING!!!!"... I'm starting to realize why weed is not legalized Federally.
U had the chargers game in hand and blew it with horrible play calling in the 2nd and Cincy hands u a win on a silver plater and u blow it. Forget going for 2 at the end for a sec u had the ball twice in OT and couldn’t do anything u need a 1st down coulda ran the clock out got in on a tie. Peyton’s play calling was horrible once again 90% of play calls where check down and screen type passes coaching scared and not to lose and VJ can’t make a in game adjustment to save his life. Keep going zone when man and pressure is working. Complete failure in all fazes of the game. Yea some nice catches but other than that horrible decision in play calling and costly penalties once again on D. Moss looked rusty as hell. Went from 91% chance to make it to 50/50 hoping to back your way in against chiefs backups who ain’t just gonna lay down for u. So extremely disappointed in what was shaping out to be not only better season then we coulda hoped for but an amazing one. U blew 2 extremely winnable games. I blame coaching 1st. We coulda had the 6th seed going to play Steelers or Texans now if u make it u got the bills. Just so unbelievably disappointing with how these last 2 games have went.
I see y’all have jumped on the clown show bandwagon of blaming Sean for everything. Chiefs fans are begging us to fire Sean. Can’t wait to return to a 5 win team.
100% it's on the defense. They did a great job on first and second down but again on 3rd down they can't get off the field. Nix played really well and even on the pic his arm was hit. I did ask if anyone thought moss would be rusty and he was. On to the chiefs but even if we make the playoffs it's a one and done. We just aren't good enough to compete with these other teams. Borrow is an amazing QB.
We’re just not there yet, it’s a rebuilding year anyway so I don’t get why so many people are soo upset lmao. We’re already exceeding expectations and so far ahead of schedule.
We had multiple third-down situations where we could have got a first down and continued our drives and scored! Our first offensive Drive should have resulted in seven points we were at 3rd and 2 and Sean Payton calls a pylon Fade to Sutton rather than a first down run
As much as this L hurt, it was a fun game, trust the process. We have a team that has never been in this position. Always losing. Now we are learning how to be a championship team. Nix has to learn to let the game to him. Doesn’t have to be a hero all the time. Just a few pieces short of a complete team
Sean's loss. That decision to tie was miserable - the TD review gave them plenty of time to come up with a 2-point play. Why risk Burrow seeing the ball again? The Bengals should have won on the 33-yarder anyway. And agree 100% with Cody - the playcalling in OT was so uninspired. By all means play for the tie, but do so with a minute to go.
Play calling offensively was the problem. The bangels offense has been good for years. The play calling all first half offensively was horrible and most of the second half. Then we get to overtime and we throw more screens and go deep. We didn't stick with what works
Going for 2 in that situation is not 'hindsight', it was the right thing to do whether it succeeded or failed... and there is an underlying reason there are no white corners in the NFL, I heard our boy got selected MVP for the Bengals.
Why are you criticizing the throw when that play should have never been called to Troy Franklin in overtime!? Once again we should have ran the ball and got a first down!! That Troy Franklin call is the 23 seconds off the clock drive that you're complaining about!! Our Run game was clicking tonight we should have continued taking time off the overtime clock running the ball and getting first down after first down instead we didn't even attempt for first downs and suddenly he's asking bow to throw it deep Detroit Franklin in which Troy Franklin slowed down multiple steps into his route before trying to ree accelerate
Broncos are nowhere near great maybe mediocre at best. We left 6 pts on firld😢. U guys suk. Ur only hope is KC sits there players. U all are lucky well say

That game tying drive at the end brought me to tears.
Well said
The broncos just lost this game we’ve seen this same story last week vs the chargers.
Always grateful😊thankyou Cody and Sayre for being there in good times and 😮times enjoy your night game ball to sack ALLEN🎉
Bo Nix's arm was hit on that interception
I don't no how many chances u get to win a football game 🤦🏾🏈
They had SOOOOO MANY. They literally tried to hand it to us, but Broncos didn't want it apparently.
Absolutely terrible execution at the end
Bo didn’t make a bad decision on the INT his arm got clipped watch the replay his hand and wrist got slapped and mid angled the throw
He made same fhrow multiple times this year
We are completely inept. I'm checked out at this point. My blood pressure can't take this anymore.
The D was resilient stopped Burrow TWICE in OT. sean peyton called bad plays n OT probably cause he doesn't trust fully BO
What if they went for two point and it’s unsuccessful, then what or who to blame?🤷🏽♂️
Nobody. You play to win there. Especially with Denver’s defense not getting stops
Zac Taylor, keep y ou all in the game
The dude on this video was right, have to go for 2 at the end. D couldn’t stop Cincy
Cody is frustrating me tonight by claiming Sean Payton was overly conservative when he should have actually been more conservative and ran the ball. Multiple third Downs could have resulted in first downs, more time off the clock and four more trees at getting seven
He was conservative in moments they shouldn’t have been and aggressive in moments they shouldn’t have been
@@LockedOnBroncosAnd moss couldn't get a single stop. The coddling has to stop
I mean there’s a clear difference in being in position and having contested coverage versus getting burnt with separation.
Chill out Flacko!!
I HOPE BRONCOS DONT
MAKE THE PLAYOFFS...
JUST FOCUS ON NEXT YEAR OK... TOO MANY HOLES TO FILL...THEY ARE REALISTIC 2 MOR YEARS AWAY...
PS2 didn’t allow any major plays. Comments like this are always weird
Vance Joseph is calling a form of prevent defense and it is truly maddening!!!!

Broncos are not ready for playoffs
We lost another one but let everyone get mad at me because you think we are good. Van is getting out coached on defense.
We are team of the they will fear us next year 🤙🍺
Denver has not beat a team with a winning record the entire year! Fear? come on buddy you live in some kind of pretend bubble! Sean Payton is a clown!
Bo nix sucks. The bengals defense is historically bad this year lmao.
You don’t know ball. It’s okay.
I see y’all have jumped on the clown show bandwagon of blaming Sean for everything. Chiefs fans are begging us to fire Sean. Can’t wait to return to a 5 win team.
Where in this show did we ever say anything about firing Sean Payton? Is he incapable of being criticized? Get a grip.
Lets see yall treat moss how yall treated Levi wallace now... Shoulda got benched by halftime
Are Levi’s lawyer or what?
Riley has been out for a month. Tough ask to come off of that and cover a stud receiver and elite quarterback
One guy is a seasoned vet and the other guy is a first year starter coming off a knee injury. Not the same
@michaelthomas9342 he's been a weak link all season. Yall just pick and choose who to give grace to
@anuar0307 if you think this comment is only about levi then there's nothing I can do for you. Nice try tho
Out coached and out played back to back games! Terrible and shows this team has no heart! They don’t want it and don’t deserve it!
Stop it
I think they have plenty of heart. That’s never a question with these guys. They just made too many mistakes
One more loss to go ...
9 & 8
We need a running game.
Jaleel had 6 yards a carry I wish we would have ran more
OT was crazy how they didn’t run at all besides like 1-2 Carrie’s.
I’d be shocked if Vance is here next year. I think they “part ways” next year. Sean wants Leonard as the DC
Our Run game was clicking tonight we should have continued taking time off the overtime clock running the ball and getting first down after first down instead we didn't even attempt for first downs and suddenly he's asking bow to throw it deep Detroit Franklin in which Troy Franklin slowed down multiple steps into his route before trying to ree accelerate
don't understand the whole vanishing of the hot player deal, what's up with that? it's mind-blowing.
we could have put either Sanders or JL Skinner on Giseki! Barton and Strnad are useless on pass defense.
How about in OT u need 9yrds Bo coulda got it with his legs and u try to throw it to Franklin who hadn’t done anything all game
Why in the hell were we not running the ball and getting first downs instead of going deep
Should’ve gone for 2,… NO COJONES! 😡
This s one of the worst calling games! Bo is still looking bad
Not really
25 Td’s against 12 picks for a rookie is far from bad! This loss completely on Sean
Make that 30 total TD’s
@TerryTucker-s2i Those stats for a rookie is completely on sean. This loss is on the fan favorite riley
@@flacko_jody2130 the lose isn’t on Riley the broncos had chance after chance to end this game with a win and blew it on offense in OT
That Bengals defense is so terrible. im shocked that yall didn't go for two!! The pressure is always on the Bengals offense to score a lot of points.
Yeah could have run for two easily
Who Dey go bengals
This lost is on Sean Payton snd the offense . The amount times the defense bailed them out this game .
Broncos are nowhere near great maybe mediocre at best. We left 6 pts on firld😢. U guys suk. Ur only hope is KC sits there players. U all are lucky well say
Nobody cares what you have to say little dude
