I think you will get better results switching the aspects from the offhand and amulet. The amulet aspect will get a 50% boosted effect, and frozen memories apparently is not being affected, but elementalist will give you up to 60% crit chance if it's in the amulet, instead of up to 40%.
Hey great video! Just to share a few things thru my 100lvl sorcerer playthru. For your helm, recommended to put Frostbliz aspect because sooner or later you will replace your chestpiece with a Unique called Raiment of the Infinite which groups and stuns enemies in one place. This synegize well with the control aspect that triple dipped your damage when you stunned, immobilised and freeze your enermies. I.e. teleport to a group of enemies to stun them, then frost nova to apply frozen status and lastly you can either use flame shield or let your Fist of fate to immobilise ur foes. But looking at your fist of fate 13% chance to immobilise, you might want to target farm another FoF with above 20% immobilised chance and 1 to 300% damage. There are few more adjustments which can make your build even stronger. For Elementalist or Control Aspect, it is best to place on your Amulet since it has 1.5x multiplier of the legendary aspects (2 handed weapon has 2x multiplier but you wont need it now until you want to do NM Dungeon T60+). Put your Frozen memories and piercing cold aspects on ur ring or focus. For your pants you may replace it with Iceheart Brais Unique if you have one as enemies die while frozen may trigger more frost novas. Also there is an Aspect called Shared Misery which triggers CC (immobilised from ur FoF) effect to spread to unaffected enemies, you may want to put this on either your helm or boots. There is another useful aspect (cant recall the name) that has 8% chance to stun distant enemies when they hit you and you do 40% extra damge to stunned enemies. There focus is not on the 8% trigger chance but rather its the whopping 40% extra damage that you do to any stunned enemies. Thats where the unique Raiment of the Infinite comes in handy. If your boots have +2 or +3 evade, enchant your teleport skills to do up to 5 teleports that stun enemies. Very useful in PvE and PvP. Thats all I can think of to share with you for now. Happy levelling.

Now that I'm in paragon mode (I still need to research this as it looks confusing), I'm going to reset my abilities and try yours out! Although I am scared though as I'm hoping my paragon points don't disappear when the seasons come out, but I guess I'll see! Great job on this video and I love your explanations!

Because I got to 50, I had no paragon levels, and I didn't have all my skill points, so it took a while to get used to, especially since I kept running out of mana. What I then did was get more Lillith statues to boost me up, and to carefully find statues with more luck and cooldown perks. This helped so much! i also completed challenges to get more skill points (just 1 more until I'm complete!). Also, I recently got a helmet that grants e an additional frost nova charge, which really helps! I'm now pretty used to this setup. Haha, I'm still on the easiest difficulty. I may move to the 2nd highest once I get more comfortable.
yep and it's a shame it is getting fixed but not until season 2 so once season 2 hit's i'll start maining my 100 sorc again i might even do a season with sorc also once they fix him he will be super powerful like he should be plus with way's to survive
There is no reason to do 80+ nm, no better loot or xp. And if you are still lvling glyphs at this point, something is wrong. I solo mid 50s in about 7 minutes with sorc. In a group , I'm normally ressing the necros, barbs.. dont really see any druids. I mained sorc, and I'll keep it that way.. ice shard/blizzard build. Only one ever to beat me in pvp is a summons necro. I'm currently trying out a druid. Any recommendations for the build, I'll check out.
I am not sure what I am doing wrong, I have made the build, sure my armor could be better as I am only lvl 50 and I am missing maybe two or three skill points (1 in protection, 1 in glass cannon 1 in Ice sharks) but for some reason I always run out of mana in seconds and I am only on tier 3. I run in pop Frost Nova and Flame shield and go pew pew pew but poof no mana (even if I pop Ice shield).

I don't trust any sorceress build unless I'm seeing them fighting a high level boss. Any sorceress build works against minions. You could dump out a video on that would be great thank you.
I’m solo’ing 75-80 NMs at the mo and bosses were a problem until I tried the following; when you get to boss, switch to a 2H Staff (core skill dmg, crit strike dmg and vuln dmg plus int) with aspect of control on it. Put 1 pt into frost bolt and change enchantment to frost bolt for stagger. It should take two or three teleport/frost nova combos to stagger boss and with the 2H you’ll melt the boss in about 3 seconds 👍
You shouldn't put Avalanche on the Amulet, it's a waste of the slot's doubling effect. If you put one of the other aspects with a % value on the Amulet instead, it would double the % value. It's doesn't double flat values like the number of times Avalanche is applied.
Same build as I have been using. Do you ever use the unstable currents ult for the attack speed? Its really strong in my opinion. Many use meteor or blizzard but unstable melts single target if you have enough mana in your build.
@@ColdBwoyy I played from early release on and had one unique then yesterday bam 3 I was kinda getting nervous.i was worried they would say it was some kind of glitch then say I was exploiting it ( I wasn't just pure dumb luck lol)
You should put one into fire bolt (equip enchantment during crowds/elites) and one into frost bolt (equip enchantment during bosses to continually apply chill/stagger)
@zkio3141 I've tried both. I still think frost bolt enchant isn't as strong. 30% crit damage from Devouring blaze with fire bolt enchant melts bosses. Get one stun and they are dead, every time.
Is the Amulet of Frozen memories a amulet only aspect? cause if not, you should put it else were, cause it doesn't give the 50% value increase that you will need, for example trade with Helmet's aspect and you get 75% armor for full stacks and the Avalanche will stay at it is.
You are more than welcome. Btw. Strength gives you armor and your strength is way too low, if your armor is low the 75% will give you low results still. Amor is most important stat in the game right now.
Definitely keep grinding to level 100, and do an updated build. You will only get more stronger from Paragon boards and also, hopefully you get more min/max gear.. I’m also a Sorc and love the class, but it’s definitely squishy at 60+ nm dungeons and you really have to play to your strengths. Meanwhile on my Druid alt, I did a 70+ dungeon with a friend and it was easy, whereas if I know I was on my Sorc, I’d get one tapped left and right.. 😅
@@godfreymassa1814 oh yeah, and you feel it the most being squishy when you hear “Fresh Meat”… 50+ I can handle The Butcher, will take me a minute or so.. 60+, Butcher r*pes me. But if I’m on Druid, 50+, 60+ I can straight up face tank The Butcher and sees who dies first, and it’s usually Butcher being melted within 5-10 secs. 😅
I’m level 90 and use a blizzard/ice shard instead of deep freeze. I’m still perfecting my build but I’m able to run tier 50 nm dungeons. Haven’t tried higher yet lol.
After investigating further, unfortunately it is not but Slow, Immobilize, Stun, Knockback, Knockdown, Taunt, Fear, Tether, Daze, Chill, and Freeze are control control effects 👍🏻
Why does nobody talk about using the uniques legs and frost burn hands? they pair so well with frostburn causing enemies hit to have a % to be frozen and the pants giving a chance that when frozen enemies die they release a frostnova, this paired with shards enchantment is absolute chaos. You just using shards once and if your lucky hit is high you just cause a cataclysmic catalyst of novas and shards. Its such a powerful wombo combo and im really shocked nobody has mentioned it in videos. I havnt really pushed with it in ND becuase im assuming the lack of stats and defesive aspects will make you squishy tbh but the constant novas and freeze effects its a cake walk. Does side is boss damage is a little low.
Iam at 97, with this base build with a few ajustments for experimental porpouses,, and run smoothly, no mana problem and tier 50, like a walk on the park, so im wondering if you hit 100 and have some update about.
It works best against large mobs of vulnerable enemies. Individual enemies need a bit more control of mama but you should be able to infinitely spam ice shards against mobs
can i ask why my ice shards look different..? its not as fast as yours and it looks more like three arrows compared to yours in a single line of arrows
@edvaedan9161 I like having the ability to stun enemies. Plus, if you have all the right skills mixed with ice not only are stunning enemies, you're also freezing them

Instead of using the ult, I use frost nova enchant with hydras for the burning. It ups dps with group vulnerable uptime and is great with shatter.

When you hit 80 plus sigils you’ll know why Ice shards is no where near a s tier build compared to other class. My lvl 100 sorc alt is benched 😅

Lol maybe for you but during season 1 i beat T100 as ice shards and hit for 50+mil barber hits minimum. I was also lvl 80. It’s cakewalk

You are the 2nd person I have seen say to put two points in fire bolt instead of just one. Curious why…Just the extra damage?
You need two nodes to progress to the second tree
You should put one into fire bolt (equip enchantment during crowds/elites) and one into frost bolt (equip enchantment during bosses to continually apply chill/stagger)

why did you use the amulet for an aspect that gives a fixed number of buffs? i use aspect of control for the amulet because i get 1.5x buffs
I have the enchanter glyph in the first board with non-physical damage which is everything .... I have like 230-330+% cold, fire damage ect ect

You'd miss out on the fire passives, which are mandatory for most late game Sorcerer builds.
