Wow! What a great video!! I can't believe you had Praia da Marinha to yourselves. I was there in August of 2019 and there was barely enough space available to put down a towel! I will make that hike one day. Thank you for sharing it with us.
Thank you Martin. That coastline is absolutely superb. The beach is spectacular. It was early in the year so still winter which explains the empty beach. We got lucky with a perfect day for it. Definitely recommend that hike! Best in the Algarve! 👍

@@luismarques9280 water can be cold in summer too it depends what is your appreciation of cold 😃. Also Waters have not the same temperatures in summer in the west indies and in Portugal for example. Have a nice day.

Algarve has got beautiful beaches, it must have been great to have a beautiful beach just for yourself.
It was wonderful. Felt like we were alone in paradise. A few people were out and about on the trail.

The water must be freezing 🥶 but some people actually swim there, you didn’t try? It was narrow to get to the private beach but worth it !
Yes, Lee went for a swim at the end of the hike 😁🏊♂️ That tunnel was pretty cool... very narrow but that made it more exciting 😀😄

Yes, that caught us out a few times in the first 3 months in Portugal! I'm happy to report we now always say PRAIA not PLAYA 🤗😁
