This sounds spectacular compared to the bootleg cassette rips I've heard. Sounds right at home with the officially released Crover demos! Is this a newly circulated version, or a fanmade upgrade?
From what I've been able to gather, it looks like this (along with the other 18 or so CDs worth of FLACs) were all passed around to various people when they were working on the WTLO box set.
@@anno0001 That makes sense. I managed to find the dl link for those 18 cds, and like half of the discs were slightly altered track listings of WTLO, guessing from maybe a few drafts while it was in the works. Neat stuff! Why they would pass up this version of Spank Thru is beyond me, though.
The hi hat rhythm during the verses that Dale plays are seemingly the way Dave preferred playing it live unlike the way Chad chose to play it. Definitely like this version better than the Chad one.

If it's from the compilation of WTLO it makes sense that some of the CDs are source material and others rough drafts of the individual WTLO discs close to how they were released.
