Wow...I can't believe I'm just getting turned on to this.....Heavy Dio Influenced Lyrics...But I'm hearing the age on Doogies voice and it's just badass......This is what I was looking for..absolutely.....I have taken a beating in these debates about the former Rainbow vocalists over the years...It's Always Dio JLT and Graham....I always said if I couldn't have RJD then its gotta be Doogie all the way...And this just cements my argument...JLT could never put something like this down...he's bland...Graham just chewed the cords up.....And this new guy...Good vocalist no doubt...but where the edge on it?..I don't hear it...not Like I do here or on RJDs vocal tracks....Doogie sounds like he has his own chorus of demons singing with him...Just like RJD once did...

Give old Ronnie Romero a look over. I didnt quite know what to make of his work with Rainbow on those recent live albums(i didnt buy them as the drummer had a mohawk). I think the musicianship and skill just wasnt there for the band and those performances seemed a bit hastily thrown together. I think that Ronnie Romeros talent was overlooked and he got shortchanged in the Rainbow legacy. However. I would Suggest getting VANDENBERGs latest 2020 with Ronnie on Vocals. You will be blown away. Some how Vandenberg captures the majesty of the first run of Dio solo lps. Its on par with Holy Diver and Last in Line, and sounds like the logical conclusion of the two. If you want to get that feel, and you love that style I would dive headfirst into it. LAST IN LINE the group with Vinnie and Vivian and the other Dio cast off characters should seriously consider getting ROnnie Romero. I think hes the best of all of them and closest to Dio. I like Doogie, but it took me a while and I had to see him live to really enjoy him. This song is good. A little cliched in the lyrics. But it works. Seriously Ronnie Romero, hes the heir to all this rock thronery.
