  • Everyone wants to feel better.
    But we normally go about it by trying to push away or change (i.e. not feel) our feelings. This causes the negative feelings to cling on more tightly.
    Instead, we want to get better at feeling (as the most direct route to feeling better). Learning to feel deeper, more skilfully, more fully. THAT is what helps the painful feelings to integrate and move through, leaving peace in their wake.
