You know, I really like smaller, like a 20 foot boat, but fact is, it is true what they say, get the largest boat that you can COMFORTABLY tow. That way, you get things like large fish lockers, and a bait tank and so forth. I would add, "that you have room to store on a trailer", that is where I fall down on a boat like this. I just can't store it--I can go up to 21, not really an inch more. ONE THING though, you might think about. My friend had the Grady 25 footer, which was--listen now, it was more narrow than the 23--the 23 is TOO WIDE to legally tow in many states. If you are considering one, best check out the width and your state rules. This fact pushed my friend into a 25.
