If you're confident in your headshotting ability I'd say go with the Krag bolt action rife. It has the lowest bullet drop so it's easy to just scope in and pop heads, least amount of bullet drop calculation needed.
My best tip for sniping in games in general is, it's a lot easier to pre-aim to where your target will be and let them walk onto your crosshair than it is to try and track, chase or flick a target. (This is coming from someone who, from CoD 4 to Ghosts averaged about an 80% accuracy with sniper rifles and currently averages about an 85% scoped accuracy as Widowmaker on Overwatch.)
To all those saying they stand still a split of a second and die. You’re right. But keep in mind what he’s doing here. He’s always in a position they simply don’t expect. He flanks!
Something I learned when you can’t see the enemy is look at the shots they are taking you usually can tell what kind of gun it is when the bullets are shot if the shots are big and closer to each other the closer to enemy is to where their position will be , if the shots are spaced apart and thinned out the further they are from the position their standing\laying down. If you can figure out what each gun Is from the amount of shots they take if they are seen shots then you might be able to take the shot by following the shot up wards towards the enemy’s position. It’s all about the distance.
I can definitely understand the patience and positioning part of it. I had a breakthrough game on the mountain map where I was dueling with 3-4 other snipers. I kept changing positions and waiting until they were still. Went 20-1 and they gave up on the spot they were trying to snipe from.
It depends on the map/situation/play style. Aggressive closer range take Lee Enfield. Aggressive mid range M95. Passive Kar. Mid+ range Ross. This is all more personal preference.
We really need more pistols to contest the revolver! I really wish for the C96 to return, Colt Woodsman or the Nambu type 94 (fitting for Japan when we reach 1941).
Not gonna lie I just the M1911 or P38 depending on which side I am, and I do much better than when I used the revolver. And I kill so many people using the revolver on me using my pistol. I think the revolver is just more challenging to aim, but I see people mess it up all the time. I don't see as many people mess up with pistols.
Been watching you for a few years now brother and I gotta say I think it's great you're finally getting the views you deserve. Plus, man you've gotten way better than before! You were awesome then!
I play this game daily, and I realized that when I ranked up in the sniper class I got steadier and smoother kills, for me the key for better sniping is to not hide, or be stealthy, but to rush and play fast and smoothly to achieve your kills. Change positions fast, use good cover, smoothly wipe out players. That’s my advice
I think that's for a specific style of gameplay. There's benefits to getting in good cover (even behind your team if you want) where you can see the enemies but they cant see you, kinda how real snipers would do. But like you said, to change your position otherwise you'll eventually have multiple snipers discover your position. No need to rush unless you're into the aggressive sniping thing.
EeveeFall that is somewhat of my gaming style. I will kill at least 5 to 6 guys and move to another hide position. Doing that fore me I average around 60 to 70 kills Per game and deaths are around 6 to 9. It work for me but that’s only if I play as the sniper/marksman class.

One thing you can use in any game with reloads, shoot the enemy when they are rechambering or reloading (: when in a sniper duel dont give him just your head give him some chest.. that way if they manage to hit you while strafing, there's a large chance you dont die.. as for accuracy just dont panic and literally just aim

I find that positioning and patience are key for sniping (provided you can actually aim fairly well). If my aim is off I switch to the trench carbine or P08 carbine and basically become an assault with spotting flares and spawn beacon. Once I warm up my aim I’ll go back to whatever bolt action I have an assignment for.
I always slowed down as a sniper, one of my fav all time games are the Sniper Elite games so when i do, I dont get many kills, but i enjoy being sneaky and shooting heads.
As somebody who played a lot of RS2, where a bodyshot from a M1911 can kill you from 50meters (most things 1HKO you really) it took some adjusting to get used to BFV. Sure i can sludge my way over and try to unlock the Boys, but i've started doing the exact thing you're doing here though with the Gehwer 95\30 and Krag with some great success since it took some adjusting to the game. I mostly worked my way up to level 12 recon basically only rushing with the P08 carbine and putting in backdoor beacons.
I can see exactly where you're coming from... The Krag was my favourite, but same as Jack, the Ross is my favourite now, Krag comes in 2nd... But completely understand what you mean
I like to take my time with shots and get those glorious headshots. I also find just constantly bobbing up and down behind cover between shots works wonders while also just slightly moving left or right in case someone is waiting for me to pop back up.
Yet... take two bullets to kill I cant say I've ever killed an enemy with one bullet headshot... ever at any distance unless they're already being shot at or they're low health
I was alright at sniping but what made me good was I just decided that I am only going to play Recon until I become very proficient at it. I say it took around 20 hours or so to become good and most of that is just due to experience. There is a fine line between slowing down and hesitating and you need to find the balance in between the two to get off the perfect head shots. I win 90% of my snipping duels, and if I die its because I made a mistake. I like the K98 and the Ross I both really like. Funny enough, I really like the medic guns as you can do some funny stuff with the suppressed rifle. Good video though!

Lee-enfield for the win
That was slowing down, Nice and calm trig.😀
GUYS THE KRAG SNIPER IS IT BUGGED TO YOU TO? the reload mostly
william robert yeah, it’s been throwing me off so I’ve been using the Kar98k
Ya the bullets just appear in the chamber
Good tips! I love you're account!
I also love you are account
Kar98k is KING.
Bro I can sit here and watch you play all day .
The best sniper rifle for me is the Krag Jorgensen, it’s the one with I feel the most confident with
Same it just feels so good for me by far my favourite
I can see exactly where you're coming from... The Krag was my favourite, but same as Jack, the Ross is my favourite now, Krag comes in 2nd... But completely understand what you mean
By far man such a awesome gun hardly any drop absolutely cracks close range and long distance 🤞
I like to take my time with shots and get those glorious headshots. I also find just constantly bobbing up and down behind cover between shots works wonders while also just slightly moving left or right in case someone is waiting for me to pop back up.
I like Krag-Jørgensen... i feel it has best bullet velocity and it's accurate af
Yet... take two bullets to kill
I cant say I've ever killed an enemy with one bullet headshot... ever at any distance unless they're already being shot at or they're low health
@@technimechanical amm every bolt action sniper in the game is 2 shot bodyshot on uninjured player? What are you talking about?
Bartolix 21 yeah was gonna say , every sniper is 1 shot headshot. Maybe he miss typed and put headshot instead of body shot?
Jack: all ways try and get that headshot.
Me with a ZH-29: No I don’t think I will.
What sensitive and DPI were you using during this gameplay?
Good question
Yeah I wanna know
If you want versatility, go with the Ross.
If you want stability, accuracy, and lethality, go with the Krag.
0:35 MULTAMUIEPSD, let's have a moment of silence for our fallen romanian brother. Bravo, omule!
9:05 Using ESP hack
You know when the Battlefield series has taken a nose dive, when Jackfrags gives sniping advice.
This is a very general video. It should be uploaded in december 2018 right after bfv release. But anyways great work jack. Love from Pakistan
did the same thing but other approach, i just run around popping dragshots and quickscoped here and there, dragshots are so epic to do
Jack have you checked out Fabian Chills? He's an amazing sniper in bf5
Im so glade that the first tip from you was P A T I E N C E, when its the one thing that many (including myself) struggle with.
There's noob aim, then normal aim, then auto aim, then aimbot, and finally AimFrags
Isn't autoaim and aimbot the same thing? Basically feature made by developer is just called differently than the feature made by third party.
jaybee0507 actually aimbot is a hack to target bullets even if you are shooting to air tho, auto aim is for console players to help on muscle memory of joysticks BUT you have to aim your enemy
@@HectorFierroMX Yeah but whether we're talking about cs:go spinbot, battlefield lmg bot or console aim assist, they all do the same thing, assist your aim. Some of them are just more effective than others. I mean just because Ferrari is more "effective" than a Lada, doesn't mean one of them isn't a car. This is how i see it.
My absolute favorite it the lee Enfield, due to the high rate of fire and the ability to hit long range targets if you know the rifle and bullet pattern.
And it seems like its hitbox on headshots is huuuuge as well
*How to be Good at Sniping:*
1. Be Hitman
2. Be jackfrags
We need more full sniper gameplays
