OMG, the studio audience of what, a few hundred people?, shouldn't be the only ones blessed with these performances! Please delight those of us thousands of people who can't be there in person. This band is the bomb!

Agreed! During the C19 lockdown, they used to feature Jon Baptiste and Stay Human on RUclips, then stopped when the Show returned to live broadcasts. I really hope this is the start of a new trend.
They are AMAZING -- ladies in the rhythm section had it locked in the pocket and all the horns were like "Let's play - no, we mean let's play TOGETHER" Absolutely awesome. Wish I had been there ❤❤

The band was flying and taking us with them :) I was lucky enough to see a taping a few years ago..I remember thinking, Wow!, wish we could hear the "commercial mini-concerts" all the time. Well, now we can if the Late Show people will listen to all these comments and keep posting the jams. Also, loving Louis Cato's version of the Late Show Band!
All the swaying back and forth made my back hurt. Lol. Sounded great though ! 😃 Love to hear more from the band. I used to watch the Johnny Carson Show just to watch Doc Severson and the band.
As long as I get to see Steve and the drummer at the beginning do their drum beat .... That touches my heart so. These ladies and gents are fan - doggone - tastic!
Hello STEPHEN COLBERT … y’all need to consider releasing these. I recall a little release from ’78 called “Briefcaseful of Blues” that did pretty well! 👍
The best Late Night band on the airwaves now, for sure. I truly enjoyed Jon Baptiste...but I think Louis Cato and what he does brings a wider ranging, fun energy to the show....
