In that case just put the folder in your home dir and in the project window, in the bottom left menu, choose to create a desktop entry.
This will add the icon to the menu.

Now they have created a toolbox application which is similar to Eclipse's toolbox, simply download and install it in the same manner. You can use it to update and install any Jetbrain's IDE with it.
