Are these area specific Tracey if so then shouldn’t we be able to use these supragingivally aswell as subgingival
Yes but typically they are used below the gumline. If you start below the gumline, you stay below the gumline in order to avoid gingival trauma.
Graceys are used for pockets deeper than 5 mm subgingivally
