Tom wrote this whole album (lyrics and guitar) knowing he was dying from cancer and none of us fans knew he had cancer when they released this album

Architects are one of the most poetically impressive bands I've heard. He wrote this song when he came to terms with his mortality. It's about his acceptance of his future death, but still being scared of it and speaking to how the cancer took him over.
Really sad but strong lyrics. Sam Carter (The vocalist) has a powerful voice that stands out and makes you feel all the emotions they are putting into their story, which is their music.
