It's terrific you do swatches and all the yarn reviews. I've been enjoying them a lot. But, it's crazy to me that you limit your blankets by only wash and dry yarn! I just made a gorgeous one with Lucky Brand bamboo and loved it so much I'm making one with K & C new hand dyed merino wool. I make huge full sized queen blankets out of all the yarn that's beyond squishy soft. I place the blankets into a garment bag and throw them in gentle/delicate cycle with appropriate soap depending on the yarn. Then I hang out over my banister folded in half. Flipping it throughout the day until it's dry. No need to lay flat, that's just a suggestion lol. Let loose and have some fun on your yarn choices! The sky is the limit on your creations. I agree🎉 I just got some to make leaves to hang around the house for fall and was shocked how thin it was. I mean I know it said string but, I guess I wasn't seeing that because the colors are amazing!
Love seeing all HL yarn again. Crafter’s Secret cotton yarn claims to be a 4-weight, but it is thinner than I Love This Cotton which also says it’s a 4-weight. But I love CS color choices. They’re really fun to use for dishcloths. Thanks for the comprehensive tour!

Red Heart has "Flower Power" out. I'm not sure how long it's out, I just saw someone made a video on it. It's pretty much the same as the Granny Square yarn, but hopefully better.

I’ve made a few coffee cup cozy’s with the sparkle and they are lovely to hold! I used the faux fur in black to put a border on a Red Heart Favorite Stripe Wrap I made for my mom when she sits out with all her neighbors for coffee in the morning, it came out beautiful ☺ Picked up some Fleece Lite on mark down this summer and used it to make some easy round cat mats. They are pretty and the cats enjoy them very much. The puffy Yarn Bee yarn is really easy to make a blanket in a day. I’ve made a few for folks and they love them. They are not for me personally but I’m just so touched when someone asks for one-super easy. I am such a fan of ‘I love this cotton’, it’s lovely to work with. I made a pretty summer type wrap out of the cotton sparkle Sugarwheel Cotton. The striping effect is very delicate and it’s really pretty and feminine ☺ I loved your swatches you made front he I love This yarn. I have added a few to my list. I picked up a color to make a few requested cup cozy’s for someone and I picked up the color Fuzzy Slipper. It was meh when I saw it but then I worked it up and it is 100% on my list for a nice throw. Can’t wait for your I love this yarn swatches - they have SO MANY COLORS❣❣

I love this! Yarn is one of my favorites. Plus I love this cotton.. yarn I'm always drawn to when I go on to hobby lobby.. look at the others but I always end up with. I love this yarn or cotton

I keep short lengths of yarn (knotted together at one end) of yarn from the Doctor Who baby blanket I made (in WeCrochet's Brava Worsted) in my purse, so I can color-match for future Whovian blanket projects in other yarns. I tried this color-matching on a trip to Hobby Lobby earlier this summer, and was able to find close-enough matches for at least some of the colors in I Love This Yarn.
My favorite yarn was the Pima Suprema, which was done away with a couple years ago now. It needed new colors, not being discontinued. But the ILTC is nice too.
If you could do yarn swatches on some yarns that are easily accessible in the UK that would be a big treat! For example anything available on Wool Warehouse's website.
I love the colors know your shirt! Your video made me chuckle because I'd checked the Hobby Lobby ad this week for yarn and saw fabric. I thought I'd dreamt it. Lol. Looking at the yarns makes me want to go buy some anyway.😅
I used the “I Love This Yarn” for my temperature blanket. I needed 9 colors and wanted to use the same yarn. Came out great. Nice to work with, tons of colors and great drape with I hook.
I've bought a lot of the hand dyed yarns they carry and made some pretty beautiful knit shawls with them. Even when not on sale, they're a really good value, and the yarn is very nice.
Yarn display getting smaller??? I don’t even have a yarn shop would have to drive about 2 hours to get to a small expensive yarn shop! You are so blessed😊

working up a sparkle yarn swatch would be a good idea. some sparkle yarns hold up better than others. It would be nice to know if the I love his yarn sparkle holds up as well as yarn bees low pill type. :)
We have a Hobby Lobby next to the Walmart we go to but I forget it’s there when I come out of Walmart. I need to go next week when the yarn is on sale. I need to tie a string around my finger so I don’t forget.
Thanks for showing the yarns , and I am glad that you don’t do swatches on lay flat to dry its a waste of time. I would imagine most of us stay clear of the lay flat to dry although the big twist works out ok with tumble dry on low in my opinion.

So sorry so many have few choices for yarn in person. I can't shop at the lobhob, because of their unfair employee insurance policies & their history of illegal theft of cultural artifacts. It 's very sad. 😢
My husband works for Ollie's as an assistant store manager .. he said the Off the Hook Yarn is $1,99 per skein.. he sent me a picture and they have the variegated and solid colors.. I can use his discount of 20 percent off..
Yes i love this cotton! I have several skeins. I just have to figure out what im going to make with it! I thought about little hats for my grandaughters. The Soft secret is very soft and i made 1 baby blanket and currently working on another! It works up nice,but i find that its not a yarn you can pick up and put down,it gets fuzzy balls on the yarn,it tangles up easily,and i didnt notice on the first one i made. I am using the granny stitch on this one. I have a few skeins so im not sure what to make next with it.
I love Yarn Bee! I find it’s beautiful and the most affordable. I’m trying to get rid of some of my stash and I’m a slow crocheter. It’s fun to shop with you.

I have not used crafters choice, but I do love the I love this cotton to make pot holders and other things that need heat resistance.
