It's definitely not popular commercially because 0% nitro is hard to tune - ie the tuning window is very narrow. Slightly too lean or too rich and your your engine may not run. The nitro component widens this tuning window by a lot, so you don't have to be perfect on your tuning and still have a decently running engine.
Hi having a bit of trouble with mine like a slipping issue new clutch and gears fitted still no change. Any ideas what could be the issue the shop i baught it from said its a tuning issue im not so sure it is coz i have other nitro cars which I've nocked the tune out to try to recreate the issue none of them act this way when out of tune im a bit stumped and dont really know what to try next 🤔 any help would be much appreciated thanks.
Yea, the nitro versions are scarce. I bought mine back in early July and it was the very last one I happen to find online from a random hobby store. Sold out and backordered everywhere else although more was expected to come into the states late July. Try searching ebay?
That’s true, a technicality on my part. I meant the oil used is a very refined, high grade castor/synthetic mix to differentiate it from regular castor oil used in these fuels (if I am to elaborate) :).
It’s running on 0% Nitro Fuel and the tuned pipe is stuffed with stainless steel wool to cut down on noise. It also hasn’t been re-tuned so running very rich. V1 and V2 are the “same” engine but V2 is specifically the KE25SP. Slightly different cooling head not sure what changes are done to internals if any. Suspension is very similar with the addition of the panhard bar linkage. I believe you can buy an add-on upgrade kit for the V1. Frankly I like the V1 paint scheme and paddle tires that comes stock. I added 23mm offsets to mine and it has helped a lot in the stability. Also decreased rear damping viscosity - before it tended to nose-diving over jumps. Super fun all-around rig!
@@jasongouw274 don't bother with the upgrade - fragile!! I got alloy upgrades for the axles housing but then the new diff doesn't fit so you need to machine out the diff casing by a mm or so. I stuck on Arma Notorious tyres and wheel extenders and its a blast now! Servo on the front axle makes a huge difference..
Keef thanks for the tips! A more powerful steering Servo makes a lot of sense. The stock Servo can barely move the big wheels end-to-end when not moving. The brakes can also use a bit of upgrading - it’s a lot of rotating mass that can travel at high speeds!

Titan 51886. I got it on Amazon at the time. Works great in wind since it’s a shrouded torch essentially.

Castor oil cant be synthetic when castor oil are plant based.

No disrespect but mine is way faster than that top end - mind is a V1 but same engine just different suspension?
