G'day. I just ordered the 4WS kit today thanks to your video. The only place I could find it was at a store in Geelong, Australia. I snapped up the last one. Looking at the Kyosho, website it says it's discontinued. And interestingly, the photo with it installed has the two pillow balls installed in the two holes closer to the pivot on the L shaped arm, giving the steering less throw. I like that there's an option to tone down the rear steer if wanted. Great video. Thanks.
"Looking at the Kyosho, website it says it's discontinued" - Its apparently still in production with a newer version, called "K.MAW023B" (theres a B now at the end of the part number)
The single servo saver is absorbing some of that rear wheel stress on bad landings, probably stopping some of the links from popping off. Make sure you check the tightness of your servo saver after a few runs, it is bound to get loose with all that abuse from the landings on the rear wheels. Nice spot for running! Thanks for the video!
When it cimes to after market parts the losi lmt is clearly the winner. There is a real market for losi lmt parts. Plus, hopup designed other solid axles MT are compatible. For the Kyosho there is almost nothing out there.
nice, if you ran 2 separate servos, perhaps on axle ? would allow for front or rear steer only and 4 wheel + crab, also allows for bias to front or rear. ive done 2 axle mounts on a wheely king and its good being able to disable etc. on the fly imo.
Very cool 😎 Looks like a simple but fun upgrade. Love it! What is more fun in your opinion...the Losi LMT or the Kyosho w./w.out rear wheel steering? 🤙🏻
That’s a good question the lmt is about £150 pound more and a bit top heavy. I tried to do a comparison video but the steering broke on the lmt and I can’t find a new steering servo saver in stock anywhere. So that video will have to wait.
@@noobrccars4392 Oh, that's interesting. In Germany the USA-1 costs about 550 EUR and the Losi LMT about 600 EUR. So the price gap doesn't carry that weight. I'm really looking forward to your comparison cause I intend to get one of these MTs 😃👍🏻 Finally the conclusion will be probably that you need both 😜
Hi there I got it from eBay but I think he has sold out now seller was kyosho spares here’s the link www.ebay.co.uk/itm/KYOSHO-CRUSHER-4-WHEEL-STEERING-CONVERSION-SET-MAW023-/164127874147?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m2548.l6249&mkrid=710-127635-2958-0 I can’t find a metal spur either. Parts seam to be a bit hard to get.
@2:52 that rear steer part will move giving false rear steer readings glue it down🤔 awesome bash the rig seems stronger than it looks for sure Wow they were some serious hits he took today and perfect spot for him also Thanks for sharing New sub also💯 Check Rc showoff’s show one of his I think he’s done rear steer and my 50c statement came from a comment someone made on his show I’d hate for yours to come unstuck b4 you knew it was an issue🤞🏿 Now when your driving when do you start the turn in Like normal without rear steer or do you turn in a little later as the rear steers also now and maybe your brakes are too high for off road this always nose down a tad too much on slight brake input and head butting the landings🤔😳 Awesome awesome bash tho Noob😎
That’s a good question, if I could get the replacement part for the lmt I’d do a comparison video. I will get it and do that video but until then I’d probably say the Lmt.
@@noobrccars4392 What replacement parts do you need? I've been replacing a lot of parts on my LMT with aftermarket parts and have lots of stock parts laying around.
@@noobrccars4392 yeah sort of does, closer than i am. I'm down in Hemel but i have been down to Sandy woods a few times. Great spot for bashing and crawling 👌

I took mine off after half a battery pack it becomes the biggest weak point constant issues.

The USA1 can now do yard work in the Fall for leave removal.

All Your Videos are Fun to Watch!! You Go Out and Have Fun!! Trucks is a Ok Basher! 🤗
Thank you 🙏
Yay, you fixed the volume! My Mrs said i cant watch you again but i don't listen 😂
Yes sorry for that noob mistake.
Good video mate 👍🏻
Fair play to the USA 1, it's more durable than I expected. It makes it a hard toss up between this and the Losi LMT 🤷
i have both and i like the USA 1 better!!

Hi there I’d love to convert it to two servos, it would be awesome.
@@noobrccars4392 I'm thinking I'll have to go check on out at the shop soon haha 1 more is ok right
Definitely, 1 more is totally ok. It’s the this will be the last one bit I struggle with.😂
Do you also have the nitro version?
Great video bud. Thank you
Can this be done to the nitro version?
Can you please tell me where you got the kit for the rear steering. I can't find it anywhere . I really need some help locating it
I got mine from eBay but it’s available from modelsport if your in the uk it’s the same as the madforce one.

Thats great , will need to do this to mine for sure ! Thanks for the vid
Thank you for watching 😁 it is definitely worth doing makes such a difference.
Awesome thanks 😊
I want that conversion. Please help me get one.
does this truck take two battery packs ?
Yea it can. One in either side. I ran mine on a single 4s but you could use two 2s.
@@noobrccars4392 thanks !
I use a single 3s for mine on the left side
Where can I buy the conversion, also looking for metal spur gears, can't find anywhere thanks.

Great content 🛻 💨
Hi,
Can you please share the part number for this kit
Yes nice mod and video may try one myself?? 😎🙏👍
Same spot where Kev Talbot goes right lol ?
Yes but I’ve never seen him.
where did you get this steering kit.
Hi there I got it from eBay but I’ve seen it on a few model shop websites. I think Modelsport have it.
Are you going to 60 kg servo for it?
I’ll definitely get a better servo for it. I think if I go to strong it might pull the steering arms off they don’t look the strongest but we’ll see.
Or the Amazon ds3235 servo for the £’s it’s fabulous have one in the maxx4s on 7.2v with trenchers 🎯
@2:52 that rear steer part will move giving false rear steer readings glue it down🤔 awesome bash the rig seems stronger than it looks for sure Wow they were some serious hits he took today and perfect spot for him also

New sub also💯
Check Rc showoff’s show one of his I think he’s done rear steer and my 50c statement came from a comment someone made on his show
I’d hate for yours to come unstuck b4 you knew it was an issue🤞🏿
Now when your driving when do you start the turn in
Like normal without rear steer or do you turn in a little later as the rear steers also now and maybe your brakes are too high for off road this always nose down a tad too much on slight brake input and head butting the landings🤔😳
Awesome awesome bash tho Noob😎
This is the strangest steering systems on the planet! This cant be good, but somehow, it seems to be just that...
That's a massive crashing I'm surprised the front end isn't destroyed. Lol
Yes I’m surprised as well it’s stronger than it looks. Just as well with my driving.
4ws is cool for scale effects but realistically handles like crap on a most models and allows for more roll overs.
It makes it a true Monster Truck.
Hi sir, which is more fun and durable? For both three usa-1 and LMT.

@@imaginerobots He said in another comment it needs a new servo saver
Has it still held up ok? Long term reliability?
Hi yes it’s holding up pretty well I’ve just got a 35 kg steering servo for it and I’m going to see what difference that makes too steering speed.
Did it help the 4ws?
I know that place bud. Are you local?
Yes Well 12 miles away if that counts as local.😂

This guy hasn't heard of mechanical sympathy I guess! XD
For crawling yes bashers no ,,,,,, take that back this one likes 4 wheel steer. My LMT not so much
