You are simply... AMAZING! It's very rare that a renowned performer:
    1) Takes the time to make an in-depth, fully detailed tutorial for a song they've written
    2) Does so for FREE
    3) And does so with such modesty!
Honestly, this video just took my respect for you and your band to a whole other level!
I'm a beginner banjo player (not new to music but have only owned a banjo for 3 months now) and this is very easy to follow, although it will take some time for me to be able to play it at the suggested tempo(s) clearly.
Keep up the amazing work brother, and, of course, stay safe and creative!

Absolutely brilliant. One of the fantastic things about this arrangement is that the entire feel of the song, the "swing", is accomplished with a fairly simple repeated pattern that any intermediate banjo player can learn, especially when guided by this thoughtful and super helpful tutorial. As others have noted, it is a real privilege to be taught directly by a world-class performer. Especially useful are tips like building in the open strings to transition to other fingerings without missing a beat. Thanks a million.😀

Officially the first song I am learning on the banjo! This really helping me with some of the sticky parts. Still a little baffled why there is a hit on the open G-string at the same time as the hammer on the 5th fret of the D string. I have just been playing it with the hammer only. Also, is this the same tuning as Broken Cowboy? Love to see the tablature for that one as well.

It is greatly appreciated to have such a talented banjo player take the time to help others like myself. l love tunes that are different or with a twist. Just came across TDS this weekend and love your style, when I was looking up TAB for In Hell I'll be In Good Company and found the actual artist, well I was shocked. Figured you'd kick ass and I as a 63 year old player would no way be able to figure it out. Still might not, but you do a great job in explaining it. I appreciate your passion and that you take the time to share your talent. I hope to catch you guys in concert, but until then, going to hit your channel up as much as I can or until my fingers wear out. Thanks again. Cliff
