Have used this multiple times, works perfectly every time.
I usually use it when I purify DNA using a quick method. Whenever it's not clean enough for the PCR to work, I use this kit to further purify the DNA.

is it normal to have a small pigmented pellet at the bottom of the tube after the elution step?

      Hi Brett,
      thanks for your comment.
Normally, one should expect a clear, colorless eluate without any precipitates with our DNeasy Mini Kit.
When you observe a yellow pellet after centrifugation in the eluate, this can be due to the starting material (amount or nature of the starting material) or any other technical issues during the preparation. Therefore we recommend to contact the local Techservice for further troubleshooting of this particularity.
      Best regards,
      Gaby
