its very good presentation about DNA extraction but i am wondering how you crush leg of cockroach because it is very hard and not possible to crush homogenized through sticks which you used.so, my question is that what method is better to crush hard cuticle of cockroach and beetles.
It’s so annoying that my several DNA pallets disappeared after the centrifuging. My teacher told me that was because my DNA was re expressed? Then I need to guess where my DNA laid down within the tube. So frustrating
Could you please explain this to me sir - if we get a skin cell at a crime scene and then we extract the dna from it, that's 6.6 billion base pairs right? Do we restrict the entire DNA (6.6 billion base pairs) with restriction enzymes and do an rflp analysis?
Hi everyone - the protocol is available on our DNA barcoding website - www.dnabarcoding101.org. Have fun!
Very practical video, thanks

Educative. Thank you

good explanation
why is the dna pellet on the same side of the hinge? pls explain
Hello, I was expecting to see steps for barcoding after DNA extraction sad 😞😞😞😞
Where can I buy

Is the temperature described in F or C°?
It should be Celsius
why do u put the nuclei lysis solution in the ice. Tq.
It’s used in order to disrupt cells in a sample to release nucleic acid .
dna isolation and dna barcoding is samee ?
Nope, DNA isolation is a part of DNA Barcoding process
how many cameras do you have in front of you???!!! please focus on one!
