Keep the stories coming Jim. I am so enthralled by the magic!
Mr Jim I am really enjoying your stories
Thanks Gentlemen Jim! I would have never heard of Johnny Thunder if it weren't for you! I am looking forward to the next video!
Mr.Jim, would you happen to have photos or sketches of the designs and fabrics that the Playas wore back in the day?? We often get cartoonish type characterizations of these "Gentlemen of Leisure" but rarely do we see the actual Sporting Life elegance portrayed with authenticity or consideration for the humanity of these larger than life figures. I ask because this generation seems unable to discern between a sharply man, or the often negative characterization or Hollywood constructed imagery of a "PIMP". I'm loving this series!!! Thank You and Continued Success...
Thank You, Gentleman Jim. Is there a correlation between classic well dressed gentleman attire and Player attire??? Would you show a visual example if there is? Is there something that gentlemen aspiring to sartorial elegance & excellence can or should learn from the Player's example?? Thank you for articulating this 1st hand rendition of the aspects of Harlem life. Harlem World lives 😀
Hey Jim, you remember Jimi Starr from back in the day?
I enjoyed your history .Is that tailoring company still around ?
Think about it folks, a suit is about five yards for an average person two piece suit, sold 70, so means over 350 yards! :O They had availability of 600, so over half sold.
10-11-18 To Gentleman Jim please finish the story about the thief. How much did
the suits cost in 1965?
10-11-18 Is Orry still alive.
