@kazuha9 Even if it worked, why should anyone jump through hurdles just to get controller support while iPhones had it for a long time with no hurdles. I swear Apple is paying them since they get a lot of exclusive game rights like Warframe mobile, I believe RE remake is on there exclusively, and Genshin controller support works only on iPhone. Seems sketch that they don't announce their exclusivity
She may serve the same purpose as Hu Tao on paper, but their gameplay is different enough to make them distinct and fun in their own way.

and arlecchino works without vape while hu tao is basically stuck to either yelan or xq
@@Sofisasam but not being a vape carry already puts her behind hutao in terms of pyro carry potential not to mention she doesnt synergize well with furina, and while not stuck to xq/yelan, she's basically stuck with bennett/chev c6 if we're talking about best teammates here.

He is a Mihoyo content creator. They have to lie to you, so you waste money on a character that might actually be complete garbage. In fact, going off HSR early leak contract agreement, these guys have to have their videos reviewed by mihoyo, and can't say anything bad about the character before its upload.

As much as I would love to pull for her, the bad artifacts rolls and not-yet-invested characters has finally caught up to me to the point where it is a hassle to keep up with very limited resources. I don't even remember getting a REALLY GOOD gladiator pieces over the years. Then again, I don't really "need" new characters but I need new powercreeps to help offset my problems.

gladiator is most likely will not be your best set when she releases because of substat quality
If you like arlecchino and want to invest into her just farm her set and until then just use any different combinations of 2 piece set
I myself will farm her set until the release of natlan because i already have have top 500 builds on akasha for my Neuvillette and Wriothesley and furina and i don't get any upgrades anymore so the new domain is great for me to farm for a new character
Agree... I do love her. But then i remember childe. Super hard effort Investment for f2p and still cant rival my simple easy build hyperbloom team. Without signatures, best artifact, best team comp, and best team signature, i think arle wont perform better than my main hyperbloom team.

We're on 8Gen3 and the GPU has had a massive 300% improvement and the CPU just for context jumped from 2.7k multi core on Geekbench to 7K multi core
We've come a long way and there's no reason to show Overclocked anymore, it's just Genshin being stingy and not showing actual load

Something to keep in mind is you may not want to burst every rotation, as it drops your overall DPS due to clearing your BoL. Even with it reseting your skill cool down, by ignoring it you can build higher and higher stacks of BoL, so her burst is more of a panic button like barbaras burst.
Yeah it rewards you for not needing heal, sounds cool.
For those who don't have white tassel, pay close attention to any chest you open in the new area that was added to Liyue. It, alongside other Liyue exclusive 3 star weapons will be there.

@@animuchan6136 it's actually quite common for players to auto add the mondstat/Liyue exclusive weapons into a 4 star weapon. Especially if they had just started the game. Also not every guide mentions these weapons. For a lot of people by the time they realize it, they only have the weapons at r1/2 or they don't have them at all.

Lyney is my first pyro dps and I don't regret pulling for him, my next pyro character is going to be the pyro archon.

One of yelan passive talent which increase the damage output overtime can cope up the decrease of dmg on low bond of life although i don't know if it is optimal to use it that way.

Just a btw, bond of life isn't a new mechanic. We already had it in the game but many ppl didn't realize it. Arle is just the first to truly utilize it around her kit fully
So many people are excited for Father and I get it. I want her too. But I wasn't blown away by her kit like so many others. A streamer said recently, about the 2nd phase, "no-one's pulling for Wanderer or Baizhu" and I disagree.
I'm pulling for Baizhu. I've wanted him for my Furina team for a while now.

I don't care for any of the pyro characters except Yoimiya, so it doesn't matter who released after Dehya cause I either don't like them or I find their kit boring. A player doesn't have to like every character that releases, and it's my account anyway.
What they did to dehya was criminal but I doubt arlecchino have that issue since they clearly have biases. I know really well cuz I am a dehya main 😔

New characters are not new content. The problem here is the combat system in Genshin just doesn't have enough mechanics to make her playstyle (or all the characters for that matter) enjoyable aside from elemental reactions, ICD and eye-frames. This game is for teenagers after-school and 9-5ers. People should stop coping already.

Mihoyo uses an outsource agency that employees real people to go on the internet and pose as players. You can often identify them quite easily, due to them often being brand new accounts, spread misinformation, overly excited about subpar products, generic profile pic, and they often get super aggressive if you make any criticism towards the company.

Shielder is a must for her if she doesn't have resistance to interruptions. Though, if her constellations add some resistance like Neuvillette, then she can open another slot for team variations.
I was hyped back then, but not anymore. Guess I'll just wait to test it for myself in game on April 24. Also her sig weapon is looking like a REALLY MUST to pull because of the scythe transformation.

I'm almost entirely sure that you cannot heal Arlecchino's BOL off of her because of her passive that prevents her from receiving healing during combat, so I wouldn't worry about that

Lyney has honestly been the biggest surprise for me in this game. After getting him in my quest for Lynette, I was initially bummed because I’m not a fan of charged attack gameplay. But his burst damage potential is amazing. He’s become one of my favorite DPS units and he’s always my highest hitter in abyss.

The sole reason I planned on pulling for Arlecchino is lore wise especially cause I love Lynette a lot (IYKYK) and she used to be one of my mains for a long time on my EU server account that I've grown fond of her so I just have to get Arlecchino regardless of the gameplay. Tbh, I am more wondering how the two healing artifact sets (Clam set and the 4.3 set) work with Arlechino if she can't be healed. Normally, these artifact sets don't require actual healing (as they take overhealing into account), but we are not dealing with overhealing. We deal with a character that can't be healed. So would she be the first character that makes these artifact sets completely useless since the artifacts measure the amount of healing that has been done to either generate damage or buffs?
The only way those healing artifact sets wont be completely useless is if you use both Furina and Arlecchino together. The whole team will lose hp over time, self heal with Arle and use the third slot for jean or xianyun. Oh wow, hoyo doing completely f2p unfriendly teams again, what a surprise.

Saving patch here as well. I was considering scaramouche, but why would I want a taxi I'd perma lvl1 it? Might as well get a C1 Yelan and have the same thing if not better. Pulling for C2 Furina, pyro archon then quit.
Both have extremely high damage output but Arlecchino will be Player dependant as opposed to Hu Tao which is Character dominant.
Player dependant: extremely high damage but needs the player to put extra effort when utilizing the character kit
Character dominant: kit is set to be played easy while dealing exorbitant amounts of damage
"Character dominant": Sound of furious button clacking to execute Hu Tao dash cancels / jump cancels / plunge cancels.
arlecchino isnt polearm-charged attack dependent. shes much easier to use just because of that.

I feel instead of referring to them as global servers, they should be referred to as live servers. The term global could give the impression that releases are location based, where the there are some locations in the world, such as China servers, that have content released sooner. However, the content that is released sooner is the media server for content creators.

The one thing I've always disliked about genshin is the ridiculously over-complicated Powers they set up for some characters. It's just really ridiculous if you have to explain an ability using a paragraph or two is insanity. I'm going for The wanderer because even though that character looks awesome and I need all my characters to be awesome or I'm not interested, he's just too complicated to worry about.

The paragraphs of text for the Clam set? You can literally say
All healing the team gains is stored in a bubble, the bubble can store upto 30k healing, and the bubble bursts in 3s (I think), and deals 90% of the healing stored as damage to enemies
Same with Arlecchino, you can literally explain her kit
Skill applies a status to enemies that grants her a bond of life based on the number of enemies with the status
When Arlecchino has bond of life, her normal attack becomes pyro and consumes some of the bond of life when she uses her normal attack to deal extra damage based on the amount of bond of life you have
That's just two short paragraphs vs the official text with pretty much pages of text
She's super meta with her dash. She can pick more mint
Reasons to pull Arlecchino for me:
1. First 5 Star Pyro DPS on my account
2. First Fatui Harbinger on my account
3. Have Staff of Homa
arlecchino feels like a solution to some 'mistakes' they made with hu tao
1. she can setup vv by herself by leaving a mark bf starting her combo unlike hu tao who needs another unit do it for her
2. when arlecchino say she doesnt want to heal she means it. while hu tao always wants to be under 50% hp but she can still be healed
however hu tao is still superior than arlecchino at slaying bosses. bc she is more consistent in vape than arlecchino. plus, arlecchino is even more fragile than her due to being a atk scaler and cant be accidentally healed by her allies for example xingqius rain swords. both are frontloaded dps but arlecchino dmg falls off the more she attacks but thats not the case with hu tao
imo, she is just as good as hu tao if speedrunning is not ur highest priority
But hutao is trash in speedrunning. For pyro speedruns lyney is the king

4.6 tbh looks. . . .just bad man, Arlecchino is the one and only thing worth looking forward to.
Also this will piss off alot of Arle simps BUT she is a copy/paste Hu Tao with changes. Keep in mind the "with changes" cuz that's important.
Hu Tao And Arle points:
-uses skill to apply a buff to herself and her CA(So does Arle but in a bit of a workaround way but in principle is the same but not for CA instead for NA mostly, CA still used tho).
-mainly deals the dmg using CA/NA after using skill.
-mainly self sustains themselves healing with their burst.
-Hu Tao sacrifices HP for dmg,Arle sacrifices "future HP" or basically incoming healing for dmg.
Arle is straight up a copy/paste of Hu Tao in concept. That being said it is a copy/paste with changes so they are not literally a one to one copy and to me they are both different enough to probably feel rlly different to play. Yelan and Xinqiu for exemple feel way way more similar to eachother so MHY does a good job at "recycling" kits without them being too similar or feel too similar.
Agree but the "feeling" is new. for example, Alhaitham literally Keqing but ppl still go crazy on him because they can "feel" the intense while using the character when you atk or do any action

i play on an s23 ultra and recently discovered that if you download the game from the galaxy store it runs waaay smother, cap at 60fps with max settings compared to the 40-45fps from the playstore
Well, Arlecchino won't lose her pyro infusion while switching as long as her bond of life exists, unlike Hutao, right? I think that's why HYV put restriction to her in term of healing as well as to keep her bond of life unchanged by healing by others.

I can tell you right now, players who pull for Arlecchino will struggle to play her (except for Hu Tao experience player). If u care about ur gameplay, I should recommend to skip her. If u can handle her playstyle, sure go for it.
The real skill issue character
Not with a shielder like Zhongli or Thoma.
We already got good pyro DPS characters, even Xianling a completly free character.
Her gameplay looks cool ,but her biggest problem is team building.
She doesn't fit in any specific team.
And she doesn't preform better ,than other pyro characters.
I am skiping her ,because I got Lyney for my Pyro team.
I got a feeling that the Cholrinde could turn out to be really good ,especialy because she is electro and we dont have that many good electro main DPS.

I would love if Chevreuse was featured in Arlecchino's banner. I didn't spend any wishes on her first banner (Navia, I think?) and there's no way I'll ever use Bennett, so... Having more options for pyro characters would be nice! It's part of why despite me liking Lyney as a character, I hate playing him because he feels SO restricted unless you live in Bennett's stupid circle.
Honestly, I just hope at some point Genshin introduces more pyro buffers/healers. Chevreuse is cool but in most cases she seems, at best, a sidegrade to Bennett, and at worst, attached to him at the hip (like literally EVERY other attack scaling unit in Genshin...)
Skipped the Navia banner too, so I'm in the exact same Chevreuse boat.

Yeah... if you hate Bennett you're not going to have a good time in this game, so get used to it. He's "unpowercreepable" unless hoyo wants to completely throw away the already thin balance they got so far.
Can heal, can buff, can pyro infusion, 2 sec cooldown skill and can main dps if you build him that way. Pyro archon has it real tough.
P.S: Chevrolet is more comparable to Kazuha, since she gives elemental shred like vv does. And yes, she's slightly better than Kazuha so you can use him in the other team instead.
@@Sergmanny46 Oh, yeah, I'm well aware of it. I'm a daily player since patch 1.1 and have never used him. I don't like how brokenly overpowered Bennett is, on top of not liking his voice, design, or just about anything about the character.
I legit do not know how they intend to make the pyro archon superior to him without some truly busted scaling on her abilities or new artifact sets that rely on something the pyro archon can enable (think Furina enabling Marachausse Hunter with HP drain, etc).
As far as "other team" is concerned, I never really bother with Abyss. I frankly hate the Abyss and to this day have never 36-starred it, because it's just NOT fun to me.
I had like 30 Fragile resin saved up for Navia's BIS set when she was released but the RNG Gods had blessed me so much with that domain that I can't thank them enough.... I just had to use 10 Fragile resin to get a complete set with Circlet and Flower being above 40 CV and the rest being close to 40🤣🤣.... Now I have over 65 Fragile resin saved up and I am ready to feed all of it for Father's sake..!!!❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥

Wow. Another character with skills, weapons, artefacts and rotations... for what? Doing puzzles? Walking around? Killing Hillichurls one hit? Its like having 1000 Cars but you only can use 1 each time...and you only drive 10 min to work each day. No combat content at all... Genshin feels more like an Anime Version of Mario Party.
I've already invested too much in my Hu Tao. I will be skipping Arlecchino. I'll wait for a broken Dendro or Electro soon before I pull...

Is there a possibility for her rotation to be smth like: skill-supports-burst for heal and skill cooldown reset-charged attack for BOL (if burst didn’t kill enemies)-skill- then either NA while waiting for max BOL from second skill or claiming minimum BOL from skill to just NA until end of rotation. By the end of her rotation she should have 30% BOL to serve as sacrifice for heal next rotation.

Hutao still does more damage (especially considering ability to vape attacks) and is more flexible. Really don't get the hype I've seen for the new character.
How do you know with Arlecchino not being out yet? Nobody thought Neuv would be the dps king prior to his release. Theory crafters were almost all universally wrong about Navia, too.

@dvm007 Everyone knew Navia's kit beforehand and what she needed. They were just wrong about her damage. Had nothing to do with whether she cHaNgEd GeO. And no, not everyone knew Neuv would be a top dps. Some actually thought he'd be mid. It literally wasn't until he came out that everyone saw his power.

The closest thing really tied to their jit it's a burst that self heals. Nothing more than that.

The kit has nothing around hp. Not being able to heal is not about hp.
Yelan is totally xingqiu, and just like Liney and Ganyu share their main focused source of damage. Hutao and arlechino don't.
Arlechino is more like Childe than Hutao.
Both uses na spam to do dmg with aoe. Or even Noelle, as both can leave the field while infused without problems.
