I’m a hardcore kid. Grew up going to hardcore or hardcore adjacent metalcore in the early 2000s. Became friends with a few dudes around 2006 that liked country. Country rules. Give it a chance. It’s not gonna blow your mind like a good heavy song but it’s good vibes man. I still love heavy music as my number one. But if I’m at the beach or driving with my wife and kids, country is the go to.
