Oh my god watching this feels like an episode of games that take me back. I haven't played or seen content for GW in so long. I've forgotten the feeling to jump-shot, to get burrowed, just the sound effects of everything make me nostalgic...and I'm still a child! I feel like an 80-year-old looking at war trophies.
I can’t believe its 10 yrs old! I remember playing this with my neighbor every day at his house for like 3 yrs, he moved to Florida awhile ago but I still play with him!
I’m so sad this game died I remember playing this game on the 360 I had every character except for jade cactus cause legends of lawn characters were so hard to get in gw1 then I got an Xbox one first game I got was gw2 and it was somehow better than original game

10 years... This actually made me shed a tear. Garden Warfare 1 is the first ever shooter game I've ever played, and I've spent a lot of time playing it and having a blast. It will forever remain as one of my favorite games of all time and have a special place in my heart.
Cam, im honestly insanely thankful just for you playing this game and making videos on it even if you dont anymore because awhile back some kid i knew but wasnt super close to was watching one of your clip reaction videos and me and him watched it together, i told him that i remembered playing that game a couple years ago and he asked for my xbox name so we could play after school. It was just a week before the summer and basically all we did over the summer was play gw2 and bond over it. He is now my greatest freind and we talk every single day. I know probably not a whole lot of people will read this, or even Cam but me and my freind talk about how if Cam never got into pvz we most likely wouldnt be as close as we are now or close at all. I just wanted to say thank you so much for everything you've done for me without even knowing.
i dont have too much exp with online multiplayer but i did start playing online from 2018 and up ive played a few games with multiplayer but before that i just played splitscreen
i rather play against bots because i find it better overall because there aren't any sweats or campers so i just prefer having fun against bots than real players who dont know how to have fun

i play this weekly. Team Vanquish and Garden & Graveyard are always active. This morning I played a little mixed mode but there were only a few people in there! I hope more people take interest and start playing again so maybe we will get GW 3 😌
Man, the amount of nostalgia that this video brings me… I remember the GW2 rush I had in early 2019 with the twilight chomper and wall-nut hills map update, you gave me and many of us so much joy, thank you for that Cam.
Man. Watching this again made me realise how much games in general have changed from what they used to be. I feel like back then there was more emphasis on having fun and dishing out worthwhile updates than now with most games being just hot garbage and just down right filled with pro players. i played GW2 and GW for the first time properly in december 2022 and it was the most fun ive had in ages. Glad to see it upholds good memories to people who have been a fan of the game longer.

Just like you Cameron, PvZ GW1 was my first PVZ game and when i heard in 2016 that the 2nd edition was coming out, i quite literally pissed myself in happiness. On Release date my ass was at my local gaming store and i had that disc clutched safely in my grasp and that was the best choice of my life as i soon found that PvZ was just my childhood. Pvz is life. Pvz is love

Am just gonna put this out here. Wolfy has been one of if not my favorite RUclipsr for over 5 years. I remember always going home after a difficult day just to check if he has uploaded a new PvZ Gw video. And so to hear him say “ am getting to old, I can’t keep up “ just hit so hard. To see him go from always playing pvp to be playing more one player games. To this day I always go back and look at his old videos and it feels so nostalgic

Arctic Trooper is arguably weaker on GW2 as healing cancels out ice. But I guess the full health regen makes his gimmick more useful. Also you didn't even use Cheetah Heal Station? Cardinal sin.

I started playing this game in the 3rd grade, and now I'm going to graduate High School this Summer. This game, Modnation Racers, and LittleBigPlanet 2 made my childhood.
When I saw this reccomended to me I thought it was an older video (I didn't know when GW1 was released), it's so surreal seeing him playing the Garden Warfare games again lol. I'm happy he's moving onto better things now but it's nice to go back to your roots every once in a while, this franchise is what allowed him to have an audience in the first place after all

Wild to find a game! I swore that whenever I tried to find a game (albeit several years ago) I never could find anyone. From what I remember, the soldiers are busted, the pea-shooters are the plant’s only hope, and the amount of cheesy height spots was wild.
Berry shooter is fine. it's basically just plumber on plants so its fun but the fire rate is slightly too slow imo. Citrus cactus is S tier. Absolute menace to society and I love her.

When i was like 4 or 5 i dont really remember how old i was, i remembered that me and my mom will just play this absolute classic in my xbox 360 and i just see her playing fire flower and shredding through the zombie team or hoard when it was ops, i would just be hiding in the corner out of bounds and like try not kill because i had a fear of zombies. Now after 10 years my xbox 360 was sold i still play garden warfare 2 and have a collection of the three shooter games.
Btw wolfy, i highly suggest you play voices of the void, its a great game, part horror, part sandbox-ish, and its just great, it gets constant updates too, i really suggest you play voices of the void

yeah back then one could play for fun and have a great time now online multiplayer is covered with sweats from top to bottom
