My husband and I can totally relate to the few friends assumption. It’s hard being younger, married couples following Jesus. Finding like-minded friends is difficult!!
Jesus was friends with non-believers too. I don't think Christians should limit themselves to only having Christian friends. We should take the opportunity to let Christs light shine through us and inspire non-believers to read the Word. That's what happened to me. I was a non-believer but got so inspired by the peaceful and loving attitude my Christian friends had, that I started getting into Christianity.

Yes it is good to be a light to unbelievers but it is not healthy to surround ourselves with them and not have fellow believers to spend more time with so that we may not be corrupted by the behaviour of unbelievers.
Elouisa absolutely! We have friends that are unbelievers. But Christians also need friends that follow Jesus to share community with. Those are much more difficult to find for us. I’m not saying we shouldn’t have lost friends. We definitely should. But we also should surround ourselves with godly friendships!

The only way to get saved is to confess Jesus Christ as your saviour. Once you add anything to that (like works) you are saying that what Jesus did in the cross wasn’t good enough.
