My first servant in F/GO and got me through the first four singularities. Offense isn't the best, but he held in there as a pretty good tank. Was actually pretty useful since there were so many dragon trait enemies like wyverns. Regardless of what anyone says he will still hold my respect as a hero f justice.

It would be pretty interesting seeing them interact, as their lives kind of mirror each other (EMIYA lived his life wanting to become a hero of justice but ultimately became a weapon that acted according to people's wishes; Sigefried lived his life as a weapon that acted according to the people's wishes but ultimately wanted to become a Hero of Justice.) In my opinion though, EMIYA probably wouldn't have that much of a problem with Sigefried, as Siegfried decided to become a Hero of Justice based on his own experiences unlike Shirou.

Speaking of hitting sacks, I watch "The Ring of the Nibelungs”, (2003 Miniseries) as white noise pretty much every night when I head to bed. I love the different takes between the myth of the Nibelungenlied and the Volsunga Saga.
To be a hero of justice is to dream of achieving utopia. But when you strive for perfection, you can never succeed - you're destined to fail. After all...a hero of justice can only save those that he sides with. When you save one, you forsake another. To lead a revolution against a corrupt government is to bring chaos and war to a country. But still...the dream of being a hero of justice... ...the goal, of saving everyone. The wish for everyone to be happy. There's no way those things could be wrong. So, there's no way... There's no way, that ideal is a mistake!
I think Seigfried would be a very interesting servant for Shirou to summon though. Not just because of all the similarity they have but because Seigfried's ideals were basically a more matured Shirou's ideals just missing that one last step to being perfect. Caring for his own self-worth and happiness. Which, even then, he kinda did by going off to marry of his volition. Showing he was caring somewhat for his own sake.
FINALLY Though I can't say I ever found anything indicating any specific rank of attack Siegfried's immortality could not power through. Kinda defeats the purpose of ..... well.... Immortality. Also you left out his Dragon-Slayer skill and how it makes even his basic attack more Deadly against Dragons, Dragonic creatures and humans with the Dragon aspect like Arturia and Mordred.
Well, you also have to consider that apart from just nullifying attacks lower than A-Rank, the higher ranked attacks are also weakened, reducing A-Ranked attacks to E-Rank ones. So it is still pretty strong.

But since I am familiar with the actual tale of Siegfried/Sigurd the blood that washed over him was supposed to give him skin as dense as Fafnir's. Considering one of the often glossed over details that I read in my trip to Germany in the castle that was supposedly his. There is this particular passage, if you'll indulge me for a moment (Also this is a rough translation my German is a work in progress) "As the blood bathed hero was proclaimed equal to the Gods by the All Father and worthy to stand among them, Siegfried thanked him for the Honor and asked to return home. Odin granted this request and as he strode across the bridge back to the mortal realm he was stopped as a voice called out. Behind him stood the shining champion of the Gods, Baldur claiming Siegfried's arrogance and how dare he consider himself on equal ground to the Gods. As Siegfried protested that was not the case, the champion lunged forward with his sword drawn ready to liberate Siegfried's head from its neck. As the blade met his flesh it shattered and the shock from the blow cracked the Rainbow bridge beneath their feet. Behind Siegfried, the cracks took the pattern of the very wings belonging to the once evil Dragon he had slain and Baldur returned home with not a word hanging his head in shame that a mortal had shattered his legendary blade". I'm pretty sure the anime doesn't mention it though. And the ability is still really good. As I said, you need attacks that exceed A-Rank to deal any significant damage to him if you are just using basic attacks. And if you try using Noble Phantasms, you need even higher ranked attacks as the "armor's" reduction abilities are further increased. So many Servants just are unable to damage him outright.

Personally, I think one of the most interesting things about Siegfried is that he has no knowledge of how he defeated Fafnir, because the whole battle was only talked about briefly in the Nibelungenlied. Just a small thing that shows how well his legend is incorporated into his character.
Despite some questionable acts he committed granting others wishes, he is truly an honorable hero, and one to be admired. Now.. if only his presence in Grand Order wasn’t such a joke 😂

Started playing Grand Order on NA recently and he came with my first mandatory roll... He was already one of my faves so I lowkey squealed with delight. So far he hasn't disappointed me once, and thanks to the Apocrypha event I've been able to turn him into an absolute beast... Love you, Sumanai. You'll always have a special place in my heart~

They are both Heroes of Justice so they would get along well. Even better chemistry than Sieg and Siegfried. But then again, Tamamo Cat is also considered an "Ally of Justice" by FGO, so...basically Shirou would get along with anyone who is considered a Hero/Ally/Defender of Justice

Sumanai is like the German Achilles 😉. Although I like his design and his personality, I think his weak spot should have been hidden better than with hair😀(but Fafnir armor does wonders)
I love Siegfried’s Legend, and realistically, if it weren’t for the cursed natured of Balmung, he’d be one of the most over powered Servants in Fate just because of his Invulnerability. I’d also like to say that as much as I love the Germanic telling, I Enjoy the Nordic Telling of Sigurd’s Legend a lot more. Especially since it was the Template for Siegfried’s own tale. And as sad of a Tale as Siegfried’s is…I believe Sigurd’s has a level of tragedy that can’t easily be looked past.
That fact that siegfried was pit in war were the enemy heroes that were a complete bad match to siegfried like rider or lancer of red. If you think about it was like god(red) vs humans(black). It's was really an unfair situation. But nevertheless, siegfried is still my favorite hero despite all the hate he has.
I always found it interesting how morals have changed over the ages. Like, how Siegfried is considered a "hero of justice" when he pretty much helped, like you said, other nobles get the women they fancied and in the case of Gunther actually helped him rape the woman that guy liked (by holding her down in bed). I guess that is simply a case of "different times, different morals" - during the time these stories were told for the first time, that was simply what a manly hero did, it was normal and people probably thought "wow, what a man!" :-)

Well, considering that Siegfried can only damage Achilles if he hits his heel, whereas Achilles could probably do damage with his chariot and most definitely with his shield I would say Achilles has the advantage. Siegfried's weak point is also a lot easier to hit due to Achilles' speed.

Well, I believe that historically Kriemhild is believed to maybe be based on Ildico, who was the last wife of Attila (at least as far as my historical understanding goes)
Personally, I think one of the most interesting things about Siegfried is that he has no knowledge of how he defeated Fafnir, because the whole battle was only talked about briefly in the Nibelungenlied. Just a small thing that shows how well his legend is incorporated into his character.

Started playing Grand Order on NA recently and he came with my first mandatory roll... He was already one of my faves so I lowkey squealed with delight. So far he hasn't disappointed me once, and thanks to the Apocrypha event I've been able to turn him into an absolute beast... Love you, Sumanai. You'll always have a special place in my heart~

I feel like EMIYA might not have as bad of a reaction to him as to Shirou though. Siegfried has his own reason and motives for wanting to become a Hero of Justice that are based on his own life experiences, unlike with Shirou.

Well, yes, but Siegfried came to the decision to become a Hero of Justice on his own. It his own ideal, that he decided to pursue after having experienced what the world was really like, not something that he inherited from another. His reasons to pursue that ideal are just a lot more personal to begin with.
I'm not saying that EMIYA would like Siegfried, but I don't think his reaction would be the same as with Shirou, as EMIYA had a lot more a personal issue with that.

They are both Heroes of Justice so they would get along well. Even better chemistry than Sieg and Siegfried. But then again, Tamamo Cat is also considered an "Ally of Justice" by FGO, so...basically Shirou would get along with anyone who is considered a Hero/Ally/Defender of Justice

Sumanai is like the German Achilles 😉. Although I like his design and his personality, I think his weak spot should have been hidden better than with hair😀(but Fafnir armor does wonders)
I love Siegfried’s Legend, and realistically, if it weren’t for the cursed natured of Balmung, he’d be one of the most over powered Servants in Fate just because of his Invulnerability.
I’d also like to say that as much as I love the Germanic telling, I Enjoy the Nordic Telling of Sigurd’s Legend a lot more. Especially since it was the Template for Siegfried’s own tale. And as sad of a Tale as Siegfried’s is…I believe Sigurd’s has a level of tragedy that can’t easily be looked past.

That fact that siegfried was pit in war were the enemy heroes that were a complete bad match to siegfried like rider or lancer of red. If you think about it was like god(red) vs humans(black). It's was really an unfair situation. But nevertheless, siegfried is still my favorite hero despite all the hate he has.

I always found it interesting how morals have changed over the ages. Like, how Siegfried is considered a "hero of justice" when he pretty much helped, like you said, other nobles get the women they fancied and in the case of Gunther actually helped him rape the woman that guy liked (by holding her down in bed). I guess that is simply a case of "different times, different morals" - during the time these stories were told for the first time, that was simply what a manly hero did, it was normal and people probably thought "wow, what a man!" :-)

Personally I want more of seigfried then we got. I mean they put all the effort in to his character and backstory and his personal dilemma, but he there and gone. Well, considering that Siegfried can only damage Achilles if he hits his heel, whereas Achilles could probably do damage with his chariot and most definitely with his shield I would say Achilles has the advantage.
Siegfried's weak point is also a lot easier to hit due to Achilles' speed.
