Cory, Don't forget to water your plant 🆘
Cory, when my never clog airstones would start to clog, slowing the bubble flow down, I just take them apart in the garage sink, remove the felt washers, squeeze and rinse the felt washers, put it back together with the plastic washers in between and they work like new, I still have a bunch of the replaceable felt washers that came with those airstones that I haven't needed to use yet. Thanks for great product research and development.
I love all these updates! And your excitement! Every once in awhile it feels like people get less excited or go through waves in the hobby and this video you sound so excited and happy!
That first half of the video is exactly the content we need more of. Chill videos observing fish do their thing with insightful commentary. No idea how the algorithm would treat those, but I loved it. In those 10 minutes it reminded me why I keep fish. I haven't even had 10 minutes like that with my own fish room in quite a long time. Time for me to get into the fish room and recapture that magic. RIP Ladybird, I know this wasn't meant to be a eulogy, but as her last appearance it's beautiful just to see a day in the life.
I also really appreciate the insight into the never clog airstone development, very cool to see everything that goes into your work. I realized before you even said it that a big chunk of your air stone sales are probably lost from the Easy Flow system. But, I'm sure you decided to release the Easy Flow system when you did, rather than holding off until you sold a bunch of air stones, because ultimately it makes the hobby better. That's what we're here for, hope to help keep your lights on (both business-wise and on my tanks) for years to come. Keep at it Cory!
Nice to see you happy in the fish room again. I thought that Lady Bird looked fantastic when you first walked into the room, almost like a wigglebutt puppy. I also really appreciate the fact that you strive to improve such a variety of products just because you think they should be better. Just wish I had purchased a few more heaters before they were pulled. Your teeth look great and hopefully wincie will have just as good an outcome with her eye. Thanks for the years of entertainment and better products for all of us.
Your integrity & enthusiasm makes any length video worthy content 👍🏻
Stay well 😌
You're awesome, Cory... and a snappy dresser!
Appreciate your interaction with the camera.
We never stop learning. Puffer definitely intriguing not boring.
Cheaper to feed a dog and lol. Damn.
Love the video! I can leave it on and walk around doing housework things and it keeps me company with pleasant-chatter while I do that, interspersed with times of sitting down and finding out who is who in your fish world and resting. I'll have it on a lot! Thank you 🙂
Lady Bird is very regal. Love her. Also love that you try to build the best products for the money. It's hard to find honest business to deal with. God Bless!
I talk to our guppies all the time.
They are always coming right up to the front to watch us doing things 😄
I LOVED getting to spend time with Lady Bird and i LOVE getting to spend time with you in the fish room, my favorite type of videos!
Thanks for the updates. I have your lights, heaters, sponge filters, lift tubes, and freeze-dried foods. All your branded products have been great. Your dedication to quality is obvious. Best wishes for your doggy.
Videos like theese are the best because they are honest and real. Thank you!
Love learning new things watching your streams! Cute turtle 🐢
"...maybe this is super boring.." Not a chance, I could sit all day watching Ladybird (and any aquarium livestock) too. Cory's narration makes it even better. EDIT: Oh I'm so sorry about Ladybird, she was a beauty.
love these so much, made my week! Congrats on the braces!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Aww, I hope her little eye feels better soon. I just bought one of your aquarium lights, and I love it. It feels substantial in hand and I am so glad to have a light that I can adjust in intensity. Congrats on getting your braces off! Your smile looks great. Oh, and I think Ladybird is amazing. I LOVED watching her eat and getting a close up of her "eyebrows."
12:05 it’s thawing the clams. Unfreezing food to make softer.
This video was awesome!
No crazy edits.
No obnoxious music.
Just a dude and his fish, as it should be. It’s like a breath of fresh air. It doesn’t feel like ur “hosting” a video ur just showing us the things u like. And at the same time informing us.
I’m in love with your baby turtle too!
I love watching their behaviors 😊
Thanks for the update I love watching your videos. Thanks for everything you do
Yay!! No drama FishTube -❤ it!!
Beautiful smile brother!
Love seeing you excited!
Greetings from Belgium! Thanks for all that you do to keep the hobby alive and modern
Looking good cory, both of you getting your teath sorted, never realised just how much work went into a new product. Just wish i didn't live in the uk, your products are not so easy to get hold of over here.
Keep up the good work, loving all your videos 😊
Great video! I don't find feeding fish boring! I love it. Hey! Your choppers look amazing! I remember the day I got my braces off. I'd forgotten how smooth my teeth felt with the braces off!. Enjoy! Love your channel. Thank you.🤗
Great way to start a Friday 😂
Always excited for New videos.
Sad the heaters are gone.
But forever a customer and fan.
Literally made an order about an hour ago.
Thank you for all your hard work ❤❤❤ this channel , always so informative and thank you for teaching us and taking us along on your journeys thru fish keeping ,you are the best youtube channel on fish hands down Cory ! ❤😊
Sending Wincy all the love.
Wincy will be perfectly fine, even if she does have one less eye! She will still be loved and respected❤ I also found the footage of LadyBird munching on clams very soothing, no boredom here! Thanks Cory for all you do!
Cory, I love your videos no matter what you show in ti myself. Have about a 100 gallons worth of aquariums and 3 tanks i kind of let them fall to the wayside for a couple years. I am now starting to get back into them with love and passion VS frustration. So I say if R&D falls by the wayside at least still do educational fish videos for us. I appreciate everything you do and the time and work you put into it. I watch many many of them. Thank you, Corey, for what you do.
Keep up the good work. Tanks!
Another great video!!! Love all the changes to the fish room.
Greenhouse shade cloth over the skylights will help a ton. They make it in different grades of shading.
That's a good thought, I hadn't considered shading it from the top side.
@@AquariumCoop Cut it to size and hang it inside to make it easier. If you do not have a greenhouse equipment supplier look on line at Greenhouse Megastore or AM Leonard in OH. They both carry different grades/levels of light blocking shade cloth. I think a 50% would work and not make it too dark but you might need to do some testing. Can your air stone manufacturer do an ultrasonic weld or friction weld of the cap for you?
Neat and also a bit crazy. Love that every day people can still bring stuff to market, all the best
Love listening to your videos while at work!
I talk to our betta Bubba all the time :D
She’s beautiful. I love watching them.
THANKS for another great video!
Great episode. Thanks! :)
Hi Cory, I'm new to your channel, having seen about 5 of them. I have to tell you that you are one of the few you tubers that i can listen to non-stop! That's more important than you would think. I also appreciate your wisdom and analogies regarding going overboard with hobbies. Since you can't ship to Canada, is there someone you can recommend up here for mail orders? The pickin's are slim here. I'm just looking for quality fish and plants, and getting your products here would be great! Take good care!
Howdy Yogi. Lucky for you, we have a partner in Canada, who ships our products out. yourlocalfishstore.com/collections/aquarium-co-op Also thanks for the compliment ;)
Congratulations,beautiful!
RIP ladybird. ❤
What?
RIP Ladybird
I hope you pup gets better soon!
So interesting!
So sad to know that this beauty is gone. What an amazing creature. 😢
VCA random flow generator is really good if you want randomized flow
I’m waiting for that flake food to come out
Seeing you grab that light reminded me of grabbing a T5 tube out of water a while back. Had a little tingle from that one.
Great Smile !!!
Awesome Clown Loaches! They are the best, I need more in my life too!
Awesome content 👍👍
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
daaaw poor pup. i hope she heals up okay💖💖💖
I was so relaxed while watching lady bird, I love the fish room videos the most
Team aquarium co-op awesome video Corey love all the content the co-op puts in I really love those clown loches Especially when they get a little bigger, they do some crazy things that’s for sure. The fish room is looking amazing. Love all the tanks. Keep up the great work buddy. Just had an idea instead of using glue or epoxy. Why don’t they just put a little dab of silicone for the air stone that should keep it in place see on the next one
Love to start saturday morning with coffee and coop.
Please don’t worry about bring boring. For folks like me who will never be privileged to own an incredible fish like Ladybird, it’s fascinating to watch her eat and interact with you. Your videos are always entertaining and educational!
RIP sweet Ladybird
l'd love your streaming with ladybug 2 hours straight 😂 joy to watch ❤
So sad, watching this back after the news on Ladybird 😢
I could watch Ladybird all day! She is amazing!
Always appreciate the videos. Definitely going to reach out to ya/customer service about the clogging of the new air collars when using the curved lift tubes. Thought I was the only one having issues until reading others on here. Love and support Aquarium Co-op 100% and have spent alot of money there setting up my fish room. But there is definitely an issue that I never had using the ziss no clogs etc. Also they are not consistent as far as output when brand new like possibly a molding issue. Not being negative just a heads up as possibly other customers experiencing the same and minor adjustments needed to get them dialed in. Thanks for everything you do and offer
I'm looking forward to getting your airstones one day, they look great. The partner program is awesome, I've tried a few of your products out from April's Aquarium in Vancouver... I never thought that would be a possibility at one time.
Good info as always, and your teeth look great!!😊
Congratulations on getting the braces off. You are doing great Cory!
Love watching lady bird swim around and eat. The tanks look awesome even with the algae
You got one cool fish room 🤠👽
Wow Cory where do you get that large bucket of flakes I could get some of those.
Sad to watch this after finding out that Ladybird passed. Love your content Corry and your products.
I love Ladybird so much she looks like Tow Mator
Or an Aardman character
I love the log from Universal Rocks. I used to have one in my tank before I had a heart attack and had to sell all my tanks. I'm back at now, but man I miss my 3D backgrounds and logs.
Nice
Ladybird! ❤ 😭❤
Sending love and support to you and your sweet pup pup!
Thank you for the excellent content as always.
I was wondering....is there some sort of large snail you could breed to feed Ladybird?
Perhaps trapdoor snails.
I hope you are (and assume you are) testing the never clog in very hard water. Even your "harder" water at your new place vs the store isn't nearly as hard as the other side of the state. I love your sponge filters but have to clean the plastic holes in the air collar every month or it clogs up for me. I didn't have that problem with the felt disks on the ziss never clogs.
To be clear - I still think the benefits of the easy flow kits are SO worth the extra maintenance! Just would be cool if it was amazing and no extra maintenance :)
I am having the exact same issue. I switched all of mine over to the new style and they are clogging in less than a week. Never had issues using the ziss never clog and standard sponge. Also I noticed about half of the air collars put out alot of bubbles while the other half put out alot less. Definitely think there is a manufacturing issue
@@madcowracing88oh interesting! Are you using the exact same air pump on each sponge filter? Could it be that the output from the pumps are different or that maybe the tank levels are different etc? Air behaves differently in different tanks based off of the depth of the tank the output volume of the pump the length of tubing etc. I don't have any issues with mine doing more or less air except exactly what I anticipate the differences being since I'm using some with the USB air pump and some with the battery backup version which is more powerful.
Well that is odd. My well water is off the charts hard. Kh and Gh can't be fully measured by standard strips and Cory's test strips. I have one of the easy flows in two different tanks and mine never clog. I wonder what the difference between ours is?
Post some pictures on the forum. I'd like to see it as we have tested it in hardwater a bunch. I do see a lot of people getting clogging from debris this happens more often when people make the switch as it's picking up more debris than before, but then settles down after a few cleanings.
Aw man how I wish those lights came in 6 ft for my 125 gallon
I'll take 20 of en once they're available lol, love it man!
Hi can I put rummynose tetras with ranchu goldfish it would be in a 40 gallon tank with the temp at 80 degrees I have a way to feed both at the same time so one species won’t beat the other to food
Those look like the clams that are in every freshwater lake in south Louisiana. We use the shells for driveways and fill
Not sure what plastic you are using for that airstone design, but you may want to consider sonic welding the cap holding the weights in. It would basically vibrate the interface causing it to melt together.
Have you looked into powered skylight shades?
I'm sorry about ladybird Cory, we all loved her , she was a sweet soul and has made many people smile
Make you air stones magnetic.
Is it possible to make it so you can also stack the weighted bases for the air stones? So if you do make a really long one you can also put more weights to balance it.
Blows my mind that mbu puffers can pass clam shells🤯
Are u using a float place door turtle to climb onto to get uv light ?
Have you tried to see if the cap can be ultrasonic welded or friction welded on???
Teeth look amazing!
You can have the bottom parts of the new airstone injection molded. This would be the exact same thing out of the material you need and it's a standard hardware part which means the cost is extremely cheap. Zero bonding, no chemicals. The example I can give you is to look at a ziss air stone and the part that is "threaded". Same exactly idea for production and the tools you have can easily be modified to fit this new hardware version.
"Injection molded threaded insert"
Option 2. You have the tool as such that you have enough material to bond with the inserts after the fact, then you can install those as opposed to bonding anything at all.
As a hobbyist, I wouldn't want a bonded air stone in my tank because of the chemicals going into the tank. I would feel so much more comfortable long term with a bonded in insert of some kind and metal Integrated into the tool / injection molding process.
You're also combining two of your molds, less parts, no assembling time, less production errors.
Love ❤❤❤❤❤ ladybird please make more videos of her
I have seen people train big puffers to allow tooth trimming.
Are we going to see the coming airstones on this side of the pond?
Predator-proof and escape-proof would be great.
All my favorite Fishtubers are posting new videos the last few days😁
When am I going to be able to buy your products in the UK
honestly that bottom cap is fine i think
25:35 How are the capacitors inside the light after it's been stored from use for a period of time?
