The new floor is brilliant and makes your work so much easier (and pretty clever to use tubes to roll up the bigger pieces too!) Kids are going to be much happier to have a clean space to learn in, so thanks for making school better for them.
That paneling is called FRP (fire resistant paneling) they sell the adhesive in tubs, it works really well and is cheaper that liquid nails in the long run. Just make sure to run a bead of silicone caulk along the floor to stop the water from wicking up behind it over time.
@@ACSrugcleaning yeah probably, I used to get mine for restaurants and put it in kitchens for code. It had to be fireproof. Might be a “northern “ thing too. Lol
So _that's_ why y'all were quiet for so long -- you were having the floor re-done. One of the things that impressed me about the previous floor was that it was a grate, and allowed water to flow _through_ the rug rather than collect underneath it, making cleaning and rinsing more effective. I hope this new floor works out well for you.
Pops should run a Boys & Girls camp and teach those valuable life skills to kids! Love the constant Continuous Improvements!!! I enjoy your work ethic and sense of pride!!!
So glad to see a new video! It's great that you could make so many changes to the wash floor to accommodate the increase in business! Do you guys still normally wear gloves when handling dirty rugs/water? Don't want you to get any staph infections!
That’s fantastic!! So much more space for bigger or more carpets to be processed at a time. As someone who spent way too long next to very noisy things and have paid the price please please please use hearing protection when the centrifuge or anything noisy is running in the shop. You can’t get it back 😢
Hey, can you elaborate on the pros/cons of the new floor vs the old grate? The grate always seemed to make sense, since dirty water wouldn’t accumulate under the rugs. Would putting a grate over the whole floor be too expensive, or is it not really that beneficial?
Texting from NYC. Hey there family. You guys have the most awesome work ethic. Not only a family business. But as a team y’all know that you have to put that hard work in OT ain’t easy. But it is what keep the family business on top. ✌🏾peace and prosperity to the fam.
Love the channel. For that wall I would suggest contact cement. Go heavy around the edges on the wall and the panel and the wall and lighter in middle. Also scribe a straight line on the wall prior. Once you attach use a dry paint roller to apply pressure. It will never come off.
I feel the old floor was better man as the perforated floor meant the dirty water wouldn't go back into the rug so every time you'd wash and scrub its only going to get flushed out over time instead of dirty water going back into the rug
The plastic boards do help for water being flicked or splashed up on the wall. However long term soaking up at the base is going to happen. It may in the future when it gets damaged create mold and problems. A better waterproofing maybe needed. Also splitting the wall where 1/2 or 3/4 is drywall/wood and then lower part is waterproof /resistant and can be easily maintained. Red guard paint like a bathroom might help protect the studs.
Great video! Your dad reminds me of mine so much. Always has a million ideas on how to change and improve things. Doesn't always pan out though lol. Hopefully this panelling doesn't give yall too much trouble 😊
The new setup will definitely speed things up for you guys. I was wondering where the videos have been but it makes sense now if you guys were getting the wash floor updated.
its been awhile. glad to see you guys again. you needed to get the edges with the adhesive and roll it afterwards. should have made a brace to hold it against the wall during the curing. hope it all worked out. thanks for the safety hint.
Awesome to see you guys back! I was tempted to actually call your number and ask when we would get some fresh videos coming in. Despite that concern hope nothing was wrong for your company or family for that aspect...
I was sad to see that the rugs now sit in some of the water that you have cleaned out of them. That was what made me want to watch you over others, as it actually seemed that they were getting cleaned. I know you rinse them out in the centrifuge, but it seemed that the water coming out of it was a lot dirtier at first than it has been before!
New floor looks great, only issue I can see is that there's no dry spots for you to put finished rugs that are off the drying rack. I'm sure you have a solution for that though.
I said the same thing. They should have left it be then applied to the wall and as they applied pressure it would have leveled it's self out and spread out on its own. Laid three tight fitted boards from ceiling to floor against it until it dried
Watch out. Cayman has turned into the little BIG brother on you. And what do think about the new wash floors? I like the older ones. They seem more efficient. You know that the water goes all the way through….
Welcome back, guys. I missed y'all!! Cayman is pretty tall. The camera view height when he was filming I noticed it was higher 😆 Good job as always gentlemen
ps, one would think a pre-school would have their rugs cleaned before they got THAT dirty. what kind of flooding occurred? also, is once a quarter enough for a pre-school? id be buying those 'throw 'em in the wash machine' kinda rugs for a school.
Very cool on the new floor. I'm not familiar with all your cleaning chemicals/detergents - if peroxide is involved would that eventually etch the concrete? Might make sense to get some epoxy coating on there to make it last.
So glad to see you back! We missed you.

I like the floor grate system but miss the orange, white raised floor.

I think they call it fiber reinforced plastic as well.

I agree.
Yeah, I also loved that about the old floor. But I guess it is hard to have something like this in these dimensions 🤔
You have to always set funds aside for continuous self-investment.
Those babies are going to appreciate their freshly, clean rugs. Awesome job....And, when did Kaman get so tall! How time flies.
Pops should run a Boys & Girls camp and teach those valuable life skills to kids! Love the constant Continuous Improvements!!! I enjoy your work ethic and sense of pride!!!
The colors are so much brighter, great job guys.
Ive worked in a daycare. Things get very dirty. Great job on those rugs! Love upgrades!!

WHERE HAVE YOU GUYS BEEEEEN?!
YOU'RE NOT ALLOWED TO LEAVE US LIKE THAT AGAIN! 😭😭😭😭
Wow that is a major-sized wash floor! Definitely a great sign of even more business you're getting! Really awesome.
It’s awesome to see the new wash floor. Especially now you all don’t have the excess water flowing into a tub. Onwards and upwards!!
Welcome back good to see you all
It is so cool to see how you have grown as a business the last cuple of years just by seeing your equpment upgrade for the carpet cleaning.
Amazing! Good work Myles and Caymon🤗Love the wash floor🫧Always a nice bonus when pops makes an appearance😍
Nice new floor. The preschool rugs look great!
Those panels are called glassboard or frp (fiberglass reinforced panel). Great to see your videos again!!
What fun carpets to clean 🫶🏽 immaculate job all round and finish 🫶🏽❤ You guys rule 😊
Cayman is so tall that I thought he was Ethan! Great job--you were missed!

Welcome back and congratulations on the upgraded flooring.

Love the new floor, you can wash more carpets at the same time👍👍👍👍
Clean team!!
I feel the old floor was better man as the perforated floor meant the dirty water wouldn't go back into the rug so every time you'd wash and scrub its only going to get flushed out over time instead of dirty water going back into the rug
I also like the new floor. The drain system looks good overall very efficient! 👍

i was just thinking about you guys the other day! it's nice to see that you're all well!
the new wash floor looks great!
Watching your business grow has been awesome. You all work hard for the money 😁
Great video! Your dad reminds me of mine so much. Always has a million ideas on how to change and improve things. Doesn't always pan out though lol. Hopefully this panelling doesn't give yall too much trouble 😊
Hi!!!! I love the vids!
Thanks for sharing.
I swear every time we see Cayman he's grown another 6 inches. I'm SURE he wasn't even close to as tall as Myles last time.
The new setup will definitely speed things up for you guys. I was wondering where the videos have been but it makes sense now if you guys were getting the wash floor updated.
I love the floor!!! No video on the drain installs? I like the white also was it epoxy?
Are you guys on city water or do you have your own well? I'm curious how many gallons of water you use in a month. Love the channel!
🤣🤣🤣 love the amazing advice 🤣🤣🤣
😝
"Trust the Process"😉 "Liquid Nails Bruh!"😏💞 "...and ALWAYS cut towards YOURSELF and lift 'Witcho' BACK!"🤣 Thanks Kaman🤫🤗💞

Love the new wash floor - has always great work
Excellent work as always.👍 What boots do you wear & recommend?

Wouldnt the new setup make it harder to clean without the a grate?
How are you guys not a the Discovery Channel yet?
I think you'll still need some sort of grate on top of that floor, the rugs aren't rinsing as much as before.
Good times!
I have several stabwounds and my back is shot. Thanks, Caymon 👍
😂
New floor looks great, only issue I can see is that there's no dry spots for you to put finished rugs that are off the drying rack. I'm sure you have a solution for that though.
Yes, they're placed on a shelf until delivery or customer pickup.
😂 the tip of the day
Man I feel like my life is blessed every time you upload a video
Does all the dirty water sit there in between rinses? Different from the draining platform
Am Here 🎉🎉!!
Man little brother grew up!!!!
Man that was a hard lost with the Cowboys. But love them and your Videos from Wisconsin ❤❤
The paneling needs more adhesive applied.
I said the same thing. They should have left it be then applied to the wall and as they applied pressure it would have leveled it's self out and spread out on its own. Laid three tight fitted boards from ceiling to floor against it until it dried
It feels like the blue wash floor is still new lol
Yo nice vid
Watch out. Cayman has turned into the little BIG brother on you. And what do think about the new wash floors? I like the older ones. They seem more efficient. You know that the water goes all the way through….
Ayyyyyyyyy we byke
Welcome back, guys. I missed y'all!! Cayman is pretty tall. The camera view height when he was filming I noticed it was higher 😆 Good job as always gentlemen
Hey what happened to your guys tube looking thing where you guys where cleaning the rugs on insteed of the floor
Pops is my guy, but that is not how you use liquid nails. 100% that panel is on the floor in the morning.
😂
ps, one would think a pre-school would have their rugs cleaned before they got THAT dirty. what kind of flooding occurred? also, is once a quarter enough for a pre-school? id be buying those 'throw 'em in the wash machine' kinda rugs for a school.
i feel like you still want the other floor beneath the rugs so that all the water can drain through the bottom too
By the way I liked all y’all’s comments
We need more videos bro
I missed you so much 😫
❤❤❤
im so glad your business has taken off like this. hey? wheres ethan?
Did it stick?
Thank you for recording and narrating a new video. We've missed all of you! BTW - What happened to the floor with the grid? Thanks!
Where have you been?

Wait, you’ve changed the rug cleaning floor, and you didn’t do a video??
I have the feeling there is alot more water on the new floor....
There is, because there are a lot more carpets being cleaned..
Very cool set up.
DAMN!....
Your brother is so big now he was just little 😂
youre judst flooding the floor rugs NO PITCH IN THE FLOOR so water will drain away?
🥰🥰🥰
👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Wait… did the liquid nails fall after 3 mins?! 😂😂😂 Yeah, I didn’t trust it either 😝
Very cool on the new floor. I'm not familiar with all your cleaning chemicals/detergents - if peroxide is involved would that eventually etch the concrete? Might make sense to get some epoxy coating on there to make it last.
We've scheduled to have the floor coated.
👍💯
now that Cayman has inherited the height gene🧬, time for a bball 🏀 and track competition between y'all 👍🏾😉
The floor looks like it holds too much water after you squeegee tho.
