I saw Albannach in Maryville Tennessee and although words can't describe, I have to say it was one of the most AMAZING and THRILLING musical events of my life!! I haven't fallen love with a drummer since the '6o's!!
My first ancestor born on this soil in the 1700s had parents who came here from Scotland. He fought against the British in the Revolutionary War. I was born in Ft. Bragg, NC because the Army sent my dad here to become a Green Beret. There is a lot of Scottish heritage here.
when they played in New Hampshire a few years ago i was dancing like a wild Scotsman, this crowd seems subdued compared to the crowd at the beer tent when they played
Robert the haka formed by the Maoris is kind of a warrior preparation for battle exactly like yours and mine ancestors did and they have tribes the Scots have clans family names can be associated to a main tribe this is recognised to the place where they are born for example my last name is Shearer, the place where dad is born is Arisaig,Inverness and the main clan name is MacDonald we differ cause we have a tartan but both where great warriors...
Love the primal energy of my fellow men and women of the north... Celts and Norse are twins separated by sea..... great jam! HAIL AND SKAL!!!
Just saw them this July 21 in Northampton, MA. First time....Phenomenal!!! They played this and we went mad. Wonderful!!!😂😃😅
I was there that year. First introduction to Celtic Rock music, fell in love with it.

Omg...I was there, and also at Earthshine. Good times.
Lets not forget that many In America have Scottish heritage and relatives too.
