I am a Highlander by ancestry and songs like these get my blood boiling and make me want to take up my Claymore.
This is my fight song, calling of generations of my ancesters, in this battle against colon cancer. This tune fills me with power and strength. Amazing energy

Did you know 'shaman' is a made-up word? There are words for 'wise men' and 'medicine men/women' but that one doesn't appear until modern westernism.

All because these driven tae insanity pushed and backed into a nothing to lose corner mad basturds interpreted freightened as excitement (mental). Scotsmen running and singing and laughing into war pure out numberd those tunes moved our enemy more than anybody, kept us going when pure fuckin dead exhausted "broken bones heal" etc but moved our enemies. Mr father's mother was a Mac Williams....from Scotland, not Ireland. She was a fighter ! She taught me father "How to fight" ......fist fight, of course. He learned so well that the school bullies soon left him alone, after he beat hell out of 'em !
