    Excellent explanation that I couldn't get answered elsewhere. But I have one additional question----what if my generic drugs are zero copay and the plan pays zero. That amount will go toward donut hole----I feel there is an unknown cost that i can't determine.

    Actually a person will only get out of the donut hole when their TrOOP reaches 7400 dollars not the accumulated retail cost. I hear this daily and have to educate plan members on this all the time.

      We’ll troop is in conjunction with manufacture coverage and the plan member- not what the plan pays
