I laughed out loud at this comment 😂😂
man some people in this comment section haha
Oh shit talk about painting a picture 😂😂

NAILED IT
When I was in retail I met this old black guy who was a regular customer named George. First time I ever talked to him we chatted for 10-15 minutes and he interrupts his OWN SENTENCE to say “you know what, you a cool brother, man.” To this day, best moment of my life. Easily will still top the birth of my child.
I love the world
Well done man, you made it
At my first job an older black coworker told me I was blackest white man she knew. I haven’t hit that same high since
Black coworker told the boss he was racist because he discriminated against me for being cool with them, boss said "he's white", coworker:" that mother fuccer just as black as us"
The coolest moment in your life is gettjng a compliment from a black dude?
Thats pathetic
Once I was in a guitar store just trying shit out and improvising blues and an old black guy walked past me and said “dayum” and I cried for 3 hours.
@CMT lol
Sure you did.....

fucken dead haha super same
yeah nobody has ever done anything
When an old black lady tells you to have a blessed day, it hits different.
And if she’s a lunch lady 😭
In the south depending on the tone it means fuck you
I was in line in Detroit to see Joey Diaz a few years ago and the older black lady checking tickets and ID looked at mine, paused and said “damn I want you on my team”. Still makes me feel good even though I have no idea what she meant
only for a specific type of self-hating White person tbh fam

You were, Stephen... you were..
yo i love it thats a great compliment
that really is a good one
I once had a black woman at a bar I walked into in the winter about 4 years ago, wearing a black pea coat and scarf and as soon as I walked in she yelled “ I see you peacoat!” . The highest compliment I’ve ever received in my life

I was long jumping in junior high and one of my black opponents dad’s said “damn white boy” after I made a great jump and won the meet. Still gives me the chills
White men could jump that day
I always played football with the black kids in middle school, and towards the end they started picking me not-Last by saying “I’ll take the-little-white-dude-who-can-catch” and it’s literally impossible to express how proud I still am EVERY DAY about that.
Lmfao yikes, alright bootlicker.

I remember playing a pickup game with a mix of white brown and black dudes. I blocked a black dudes shot and the reaction of everyone watching is still something I remember to this day he looked at me like how did you do that. Everyone was dogging him
Yeah but has a Mexican coach nicknamed you "El Monstro" because of how hard you hit? Lol that was mine.
Grade 7 basketball, I'm in the finals, we lose the championship game to a team from an all black school. There's not a single black kid on my team. In the handshake line at the end of the game one of the kids from the opposing team shakes my hang and says "You wicked man." I'm 38 years old and it was still the most validating compliment I ever received about my athletic skills.
I had a black man tell me "I like your shirt, G" at a grocery store four years ago, and I'm still happy about it.
Well dang. I didn't realize that I was making people's days, years or lives by complimenting you guys. Thank you for making my day today. Tom's right, Black folks don't bullshit at all. We keep that shit honest.
I’ve lived everywhere and black folks from the south are the most genuine people that exist. There’s no BS involved. Either I fuck with you or I don’t, and you won’t have to guess. Man I miss homr
I have a run dmc t-shirt. I bought it for $3 at a salvation army. I was wearing it in a kroger when a very large, very old black dude said "nice shirt, young man."
They are gonna bury me in that shirt.

I’m Mexican with long wavy hair, I used to like straightening it. One time I thought I was having a bad hair day and was feeling crappy. An older Black lady walking past me stopped and told me my hair was beautiful. Omg that just made my day, I was beaming! And from there on I give random people genuine compliments.
im mexican and I used to have long wavy hair, once walking in downtown LA where I dont live a older black security guard told me I had some great hair and it made me super happy haha
I'm Mexican with long hair also & black women always compliment my hair also
At around 4:30 begins an exchange of words where they are agreeing with the words Toms dad once spoke “buddy there’s no other way to say this… I love watching black people have fun”.
Full circle 😂

Exactly what I thought!
One of my first jobs was at a warehouse, I was still new and pulled up with a fresh cut and my massive black coworker hyped the shit out of me complimenting my fade. Life changing moment
Not life changing!! Lmaooo these comments are so cute & funny!

And older black lady complimented my Doc Holiday mustache. As I was leaving the restaurant she did a double take and then said practically yelled "heyyyy I like your mustache mannn. You don't see that much these days. I like it!" Lol it really made my day
My dad (Irish) was on holidays in New York and had just bought a new hat. He went down to the subway and a black guy working at the station called across to him "that's a FINE paperboy hat!". Then there was some issue with the ticket and the guy just opened the turnstile and said "a man with that hat travels for free". It's still his favourite hat several years later.
a black dude impressed by your drumming and rhythm. That was my moment in the sun.
Oh shit white dude got rhythm? I see you playa!
Good for you man bc that’s a very very rare one. It’s like 3-5 great white drummers. Phil collins, Travis barker and that guy from Rush? That’s IT. you’re in rarified air.

Tom is right, the PEAK of my life was when a gorgeous black woman asked for my number saying I was hot. And I'm like 5'8", super white, usually like 15 pounds overweight.
I had something similar happen to me in high school that I completely and embarrassingly fucked up.
This cute black girl would always talk to me in math class. One day she started asking me questions about who I was dating and whatnot. I wasn't interested because at the time I had a huge crush on someone else. I could see where she was going with her questions and when she asked "Would you ever go out with a black girl" my brain jumped ahead and thought she was asking if I would go out with her specifically.
So I shook my head no, she got mad and never talked to me again. Whoops...
@@simondewitt7161 lmao you just stayed silent and shook your head? That makes it SO much worse and a billion times funnier. I can only imagine hahahahaha
@@Cegros It wasnt quite that bad, she asked me at the end of the second to last class of the school year, which was another part of my assumption that she was going to say "go out with me" and not "go out with a black girl".
The head shake was going to be followed by something like "no, thank you, I have a crush on so and so" But when I realized what she actually said my brain had to reboot and by the time it was working again she was gone.
If there was a video of this interaction it would have been hilariously awful though...There really was no great answer to that question, if I said "yes I would date a black girl, but not you" that wouldn't have been much better. Plus its a funnier story this way
Although I wish I said yes, she was pretty cute and my "crush" ended up losing her 5 or 6 kids after her 3rd DUI. Ones twenties can be an interesting time for some people
if I see someone wearing something nice I’ll compliment them, I never knew the power I had till now 😂
As a black dude I'm loving this comment section 😎
Best compliment I ever got was at a black party in college. It was, “I like you. When the Revolution happens, you’re on the Safe List.”
That's hilarious. Black friend told me once I like you, you're a white man with a black soul.
A year or two ago I was walking up to 711 smoking a blunt and this black dude standing at the counter said "DAMN, YOU GOT ME JEALOUS YOU SMOKING THAT GOOD" Made me feel incredible for the rest of the night.
black guy told me once i had good blunt rolling skills, that's kept my self of steam going for about 20 years. That's at the top for me.
This show is sooo Kool and silly

@@stevenbard8026 lol nah they literally meant they would date them
Tom talking about how good he is at basketball nearly ended me
I remember getting the same exact compliment word for word from a black guy in middle school about my soccer skills.
"You can't leave Ron unguarded" is still burned into my brain
If it came from a European or South American maybe it would have some gravitas.
I had the same experience in basketball but on defense.
A black woman stopped me (she was driving, I was biking), and said - "young man, young man! handsome!" thumbs up. Made my year!!
6:45….still remember when random black guy told his friend that I was fast during pickup game at a park…20+ years ago
Man one time I was buying some Adidas at the mall and there was a black dude at the register checking out next to me and I had to order my shoes and he overheard me and wanted to see what they looked like, he proceeded to tell me they were hard as fuck and he ordered a pair. That right there certified my selection in shoes that day. Shits is fresh as hell lol. Shoes were the NMD-R1 raw desert color lol
Just had to throw my pair away (got destroyed by mud and sewage) and it hurt cause I did have at least one black guy compliment them that I recall. Gonna have to order another pair

a few years back a black lady told me i was raised right and that shit still makes my day when i think about it now
The guy who cracks up in the background.
I love that guy.
Really? Gross.
Totally relate to the basketball story... I was in the Navy in Portsmouth, VA (married to a Jamaican woman at the time). I'm alright at ball, there were 2 white guys at the MWR, I was picked last, the other white guy was 2nd to last on the other team... Now, I don't have the best shot, but can dunk and rebound.. we WERE KILLING THE OTHER TEAM!! AND one of the guys on there other team said," Why did we get stuck with the shitty white guy!!" That was almost 30 years ago and still love that compliment!!
I grew up in Norfolk, played streetball 3 hrs a day FOREVER. It was always nice graduating from “whiteboy” to “Toni Kukoc”. Then eventually my actual name
Actually I graduated in 1995 so we could have had a whiteboy hooper face-off back then. Rob O-Sullivan you are my nemesis
Only thing that makes a comment from a black dude better is if he's an old head in a suit with a Bluetooth earpiece on, then you can put that on a resume
On your resume bro that was funny af. 😆
But he wasn't talking to you, he was on the tooth.

Facts!
It will LITERALLY get you any job
When I was in the US Army stationed in Korea at Camp Stanton with 4-7 Cav I played on the Squadron team. One game I was hitting 3 pointers from well behind the arc. One of my black teammates said “Boy you can shoot it”. I was so elated by the compliment I got drunk off my arse at the enlisted club that night. I still remember it 25 years later.

Well I played basketball i UK with black guys. I was with the big, strong guy who generally ruled talking shit all the time being respected for his talk and his game. I'm a rare Adidas collector, and I can verify that black compliments mean the most.

It's because we mean it, that compliment isn't coming for politeness or decorum, that shit comes from the soul
that's why you should always keep it real , people will appreciate you more and listen to you when you talk
Lol I'm black and a black kid complimented my shoes and i was freaking on top of the world. I didn't see that coming. I'm black. Crazy. That was 5 years ago and I still think about it!

This actually makes sense. Got my beard complimented on the rooftop of Virgin hotel I Chicago by the bouncer who was black. Felt great 😁
Getting complimented on your cooking from a black person is the greatest feeling in the world. As a white guy, there'll always be the stereotype that I can't season my food or that I'll put raisins in the potato salad, so to get that acknowledgment totally hits different.

Tom is right about the athletics. I remember 20 years ago I was shooting baskets alone in a park in Tennessee. A couple of cars pulled up with a bunch of black guys and they asked to have the court if I joined them. I was last to get picked. Guy on the other team checks me up, so I go to the top of the arc. He takes a jab step and I don't flinch. He rises for a 3 pointer, and I just go up straight and block that shit to the other side of the court. His friends LAUGHED THEIR ASSES OFF at him. We were cool from then on out, and had a great set of games that day. I still remember it 20 years later.
I dont watch this podcast regularly but i do watch some other comedians podcasts and they all have a banter and chemistry with their producers during the show. But nothing is fucking funnier than hearing those guys who sound like theyre in another room cackle loud as shit, it kills me how heartily they laugh
I always regretted being picked for a team later in life cuz I was so used to be considered lame. It's too much pressure to be counted on, even when I know I'm proficient.
Love watching this crew interact!
This made my day man thanks
When I was in 9th grade, my old rec center had a track that overlooks the basketball court and an older black dude walked almost every day at the same time I was getting shots up. He poked his head in one day on his way out and said “that’s a smooth stroke you got there, brother” and now I will have that on my headstone
“I use to play a lot of basketball” honestly now that your finally healed let’s just stay away from that 😂😂
I will always remember my first black compliment. I quote word for word “That shits tight son. I’m tryna get me one of them.” For context he blessed with this gift because I had a nice fitted hat.

It was HIIILARIOUS 😂
Getting a different pair of pants complimented today and it’s like man why do black people just make me beam a whole smile. it’s the genuineness, the bass in the voice, the way it’s said, and the spirit in it. Idk black compliments will have all of your cells feeling it.
I was playing a pick up game outside in Bloomington at IU’s campus when I was 18 and I was absolutely on fire and these three black dudes that were standing off to the side were going so crazy every time I would hit a shot and it made me so happy..and one time, a few years back, I was at top golf and I gave the black waitress my debit card and went back to playing pool and she came back and put the card in my back pocket and smiled at me. And now I wonder what she’s been up to everyday since.
