    I am in the process of changing out our blinds. I cannot stand the ones that came with the RV. Thanks for the ideas! New sub!

    Very nice, but I think I would like something more insulated to help keep the heat and cold out... But looks good..

    • @Findingourspot
      @Findingourspot  4 года назад +1

      Ah, I understand. The original shades didn't do much for insulation. We have some reflectix we use for those occassions.

      @@Findingourspot I use the reflectics under my original blinds.. 😁, still not sure what I want to do..

    You did a great job but you need to go outside at night and see how well people can see into those blinds with your lights on. Sadly, they do not block out peeking eyes. Daytime they are lovely but we found this out ourselves how see through at nigh they are. You might not have nieghors and there's no worries about that, but just for others watching, please be sure you find ones with a liner.

    How did you cover the screw holes

    • @Findingourspot
      @Findingourspot  3 года назад +1

      We used wood filler and sanded it down before we painted the walls.

    Are you putting black out curtains over the blinds?

    • @Findingourspot
      @Findingourspot  4 года назад

      We have the wood blinds in the front half. For the bedroom we do have blackout curtains from bed bath and beyond.

    These IKEA blinds seem to all be 76" length. Was that a problem for you or did you find them in shorter length.

    • @Findingourspot
      @Findingourspot  3 года назад

      Looks like they don't carry the exact blind anymore. The Bleking model looks most like it and comes in widths ranging 22"-47".

      @@Findingourspot the question was about the LENGTH!!! 🤷🏼‍♀️
