It's the journey not the destination that make the memories. You and Eddie have done a wonderful job of illustrating that principle. Thanks for being great tour guides!
Enjoyed watching this. We did a similar trip years ago when we were in Vegas for a convention. Route 66 is so cool, and seeing the Grand Canyon for the first time is priceless!
It's great that you stopped at all these beautiful places along the way. When I drove from Las Vegas to Grand Canyon, I only stopped at Hoover Dam. And if I were to go to Grand Canyon again, I will try to reach by noon, because the canyon does not look as majestic as it should be around 4pm+ while most parts of the canyon is covered in its own shadows in photos. My friends say it looks most beautiful if the sun is not casting shadows on the canyon.
Love hearing Dani when you’re scream-laughing on a thrill ride. Was in Vegas a few days ago. Kept an eye open for you. At least I had this video to watch when I came home. I’m glad you gave the Grand Canyon more than the Clark Griswold/Vacation look at it. Fun stuff! Thanks Dani and Eddie.
Great work guys, epic video , And you are Correct , Not going anywhere near that bridge , " gettin my kicks " This is a great video to forward to someone and tell them, Here is your next trip , Really put together well 🥂, Thank you, take care.
excellent trip. the coaster looked fun. have yall ever stopped at that Flintstones campground nearby? i had a blast running around there a few years ago.
I loved this video! I’ve never ventured to the Grand Canyon just because it seemed like a long drive but you make it look like fun. Thanks for taking the time to put this together.
Hi Dani. This must've been so much fun to film. That pressed penny knew you would be there. lol. There's nothing like hitting little outa the way shops and diners. Much better than Walmarts, Targets, etc. That Canyon Coaster looks like a blast. Did it feel safe? The Grand Canyon never gets old, thank you so much for taking us along. Especially for those of us that can't travel too much. Peace! 🙂
@@Dani702 That's good, I bet it made it alot easier to concentrate on filming. The only time I felt unsafe was on Indiana Jones. I swear, I felt like I was gonna fly off if I didn't hold on to the side rail. I felt like kissing the ground when it was over. 🙄
Thanks for the great vid, Dani. Grand Canyon is aptly named. It literally takes your breath away, especially from Mather's Point on the first time. But, I'm like you. A road trip is so much better when there are shakes and sweets involved. Thanks again.
You cover so much in such a short period of time, all your videos are the next best thing to being there, i hope you're getting the credit you more than deserve ☺️, thank you!
Awesome video Dani! I really loved this one! The Grand Canyon is absolutely stunning and no matter how good it looks on video, it can’t really capture the grandness of seeing it for the first time. Keep up the good work. I enjoy watching every time! 😊
Nice road trip, thats proof the the journey is just as nice as the destination, wonderful video Dani, loved the change of pace from the Vegas video's, gotta try that coaster, from your laughter it must have been a blast
Thank you for this great and informative video. My wife and I will be using your video as an itinerary. Thank you for the (great production quality) and fun to watch video
I love the southwestern deserts and i also love the change in altitude when driving up through Arizona (i was driving from Phoenix) to the high elevations of Flagstaff and then Grand canyon. Sedona Red rocks are always peacefully cool and scenic too.
We did all of that! We ended the night in Flagstaff and spent a few days there's and also went to Sedona. I didn't film the rest but it was an epic adventure. I'll share photos on Instagram soon!
Glad you went to the South Rim. I did a tour years ago, and we pretty much stopped at the same exact spots you stopped at. The town of Seligman was super cool, and I could definitely see how it would be a huge inspiration for the Pixar movie Cars.
That is awesome! I felt like those were definitely the top stops when I was narrowing down for time. Glad I finally got to check out solid men. Such a quirky town right?
We are considering a trip to the Grand Canyon for next year, but we can't decide on the West or South Rim. The South Rim is beautiful! Great video, Dani! Thank you!
If you have time for the south rim, I truly feel like it's worth it. I've never done the West rim but I hear it's a quick visit. Very different from the south rim.. but if you don't have much time for it that might be a good option.
The road trip was beyond amazing with you picking the most amazing places to visit that had that old retro flare, now the mountain coaster you and Eddie went on looked like one heck of a ride and just hearing the sound of your voice I knew you had one heck of a good time all the way down but the best part of your road trip was seeing you at your final destination the Grand Canyon itself and I want to say is I hope your first visit there is a trip you’ll remember always, now I’ve been there several times and as a young kid I hacked to the bottom of the Grand Canyon spent the night and hiked back up the next and it was so hot I thought I would never make it back to the top but luckily I did anyway you and Eddie enjoy your trip and see as much as you can and yes I hope your trip is an epic one now with that peace ☮️ love ❤️ and happiness to you Dani and Eddie and I’ll see you on the next awesome vlog adventure also so sorry for such a long comment peace ☮️ out ✌️
I wanted to do the inverse trip when I went to the Grand Canyon in 2018 from there to Las Vegas, but didn't do it due to time constraints. Maybe next time if I get to go again! Did stop in Kingman and Seligman on the way back to So. Calif.
We did this trip back in 2017, but instead of going back to Las Vegas we continued to the Cameron Trading Post, Flagstaff then ended the trip in Sedona.
We actually did the same. Our night ended in Flagstaff we spent a few days there and then we kept going to Sedona. I didn't film the rest of our trip but it was fantastic and we got home last night.
It was so fun! Totally worth the visit! I was right there with you. Crazy how the grand canyon is located so close, yet it took me so long to do it. And yet millions of people travel probably millions of miles to visit the Grand canyon.
I don’t think I could do the Hoover Dam. I am one with the fear of heights. My hands get shaky and I start sweating being high up. It looks amazing though
Great video, I've never been to any of the places you went.. coaster looked like a huge plus.. I've flown over the canyon every time going to Vegas but wow doesn't look that spectacular from 10,000ft..🫣.. maybe someday.. appreciate you.....
It's the journey not the destination that make the memories. You and Eddie have done a wonderful job of illustrating that principle. Thanks for being great tour guides!
Many thanks! We had a great time. Knocked so many things off my bucket list this weekend.
That looked like a great trip. The canyon coaster looked like it was a blast. Thanks for sharing this adventure with us!!!
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for this video Dani!
I really like it when you visit and talk about vintage and nostalgic places! ❤
Glad you enjoyed it!

Good morning from Gatlinburg TN Smoky Mountains Park Ms Dani!🌄🐻🏞️
*Good info for when I'm driving through grand canyon. Thanks Dani.* 👏💯
Any time!

I have not. I had it on my original list but I had to narrow that down for time. Looks pretty cool though.
Would love to see the Grand Canyon one day! I could only imagine how beautiful the views are. It’s a bit of a long drive for us 😂😂
Thanks Dani!

Looks like such a fun road trip from Vegas. I rode mountain coasters for the first time last year in Gatlinburg. Fun but kind of terrifying 😮
Eddie had control over our cart so I wasn't too nervous but he said it was a little sketchy. Lol
Great job Dani, you got the penny you wanted ! 🎉
Thank you!! 😁

The coster was a lot of fun. I rode with Eddie and he was controlling it. I felt safe though but probably because he was doing the work.

I totally agree. Its overwhelming in person. I'm so glad I finally made the drive. Thanks so much for watching!
Great video. Very informative. I’m inspired to visit the South Rim

Absolutely! I loved the coaster. That ended up being my favorite stop. 😀
That was fun, thanks Dani !!!
Eddie is a man after my own heart with that bleu cheese bacon burger! Good job buddy!
Lol.
Thank you for this great and informative video. My wife and I will be using your video as an itinerary. Thank you for the (great production quality) and fun to watch video
Been so busy but I’ve missed your videos. Thanks for another great video Dani!!
Keeping busy is good and I hope your getting chances to enjoy some breaks. Thanks so much for watching! We had an excellent trip.
Nice road trip adventure!
It really was. We ended the night in Flagstaff. Spent a few days there and also went to Sedona. It was a nice getaway.
Great video! You just gave me a great itinerary for a non-Vegas day on my next Vegas vacation. That looked like it was so much fun!
It was! I felt like I crossed so much of my bucketlist. I didn't film the rest but We ended up also going to Flagstaff and Sedona. Great trip.
the top bucket list is meeting you in vegas! thanks for the content..
😀😀😀 thank you so much for watching. We honestly had a great time this weekend.
Dani, you make such fun videos. Keep it up. ☺️👏🏻
Thank you so much Roy!
Legendary. Looks so much fun
We truly had such a good time.
I went when in Vegas 2012 to Flagstaff and South Rim of Grand Canyon. The Magical moment is when sun sets. Everything becomes so quiet.
We also kept going to Flagstaff and also Sedona. It was epic!
Highly entertaining trip over to the Grand Canyon! I've only been once. I need to go back!
It was a great trip. ☺️
Super cute trip Dani!

Glad you liked it! Thank you for watching.
The Mac n Cheese hot dog looks very yummy!
I think the treat was the mac and cheese fries. Lol.
Beautiful
Good video, dani
Thanks!

Was thinking of going from Grand canyon to Vegas lol
Thanks for sharing. Appreciate your help if you can share the tour company link which you took.
Whenever I see the Hoover Dam I think of Chevy Chase in Vegas Vacation 😂😂😂
I would love to my KICKS just hanging out with you & Eddie
Another good reason to make these stops is because there are no highway rest areas with restrooms between Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon!
Doesn’t the sun set in an hour from 5?
Yes, the shadows where hitting the canyon right as we got there.
I don’t think I could do the Hoover Dam. I am one with the fear of heights. My hands get shaky and I start sweating being high up. It looks amazing though
The memorial bridge is pretty ridiculously high up too. I'm getting used to heights but the bridge is pretty wild.
Dani the Woo702
😀
The North Rim is way prettier and alot less tourist
Thanks for the heads up.
Don’t quit your day job.
Why not? Great video. Keep up the good work
Lose the finger pointing. It’s so overused.

You should if you get a chance. Very cool is see it in person.
