These cards look great this year and really enjoyed the preview though I'm really jealous that I haven't received my box yet.!I know the Ginter-haters gonna hate, but this is always my favorite annual release by Topps.
If they keep the price down, I could see ripping 1 of these for the fun of it. The mini autos are pretty sweet. I like the look of AG Chrome much better though.
Wow, the color the design is soooo much better than the past 2 years. Also, the quality control corners and centering seem spot on this year as well. Thx for sharing Stryker! Oh and BTW the background music you chose is so perfect for this rip LOL!

Does this have a massive return ? No. But here is why I LOVE Allen and Ginter. It's FUN. You smile and laugh and shake your head the whole break. All breaks are anymore is just fire them open and seek for the instant return and sell the card. This brings it back to the childhood fun of cards.
Ok, not gonna lie this break looks fun as hell with the random pop culture personalities and the fun hits of actual players. The mini cards are a cool novelty as well.
I got into Allen and Ginter 2022 Cards last year and I love collecting the base set and tobacco card sets as well. Wasn’t too sure about 2023 though until I saw Stryker opening them and that changed my mind. Wish they had GQ for 2023

Wembyana auto would be sick, but it's sweet to see him in this set. I remember a few years back they had Trevor Lawrence in one Very fun rip, I am glad to see em bring life to the minis with splashes of color. I like the SD cap btw, I am a Tigs fan (like you) through and through, but that's a sweet hat. My sweetest Ginter Pull and I still have it is a Kris Bryant Box loader - auto's to I think either 25 or 15 or something. I look forward to the next rip. Have a great one

I don’t collect this release but I do enjoy watching the box openings. It’s very affordable, carries value from year to year and has a great niche following.
I always prefer the Chrome, same with Stadium Club. For the price, chasing the rookies, autos and the dinosaur poop (fossils) is fun. I donate the rest ;)
Had great luck with AG. Son pulled a 3/25 Trout auto on Christmas Day. Cards look nice. Reminiscent of the old tobacco tin cards. I like the painted portrait look. I really like the minis. Lots of variations make it fun to open. The stranger cards don’t bother me much. Maybe tone down the odd stuff but still pretty good value.
I know my comment is super late but i do like that only in Milwaukee insert as a brewers fan. I like seeing Bernie Brewer the mascot lol. I really like the allen and Ginter set, its fun and i got Willie Mays mini cloth card aside from the 3 hits.
Good day Stryker. I give it a 3.5. With the addition of Chrome A&G it takes away from the original intent. I feel that way about all the paper to chrome products, overkill if you ask me. Looking forward to topps update 2023. Corbin is a stud and we need that in AZ right now.
I love the idea behind these cards, and also do like the retro look, but perhaps a bit too oddball for my tastes. Nonetheless, there’s a lot of mojo in favor of these packs! I’d just trash the Bomani Jones card, ugh (like your no comment). Broadening one’s horizons is usually a good thing… so 4/5 stars overall. This was a really fun video to watch!

When topps first released cards they made cards of actors and musicians. I think this is more nostalgic based for topps

Gypsy Queen and Allen Ginter are my favorite releases BECAUSE of the design of the cards. They just look so good.

I think I pulled 4 relics in 6 blasters last year. Retail isn't bad at all and has exclusive minis and inserts.
