But only recently have I realized how important it is to find a niche and create purposeful art for that niche, instead of just creating whatever the hell you want and hoping for the best. I’m thinking about pursuing a BFA degree, can I get your thoughts on the pros and cons of the degree, furthermore, after you finish the degree what ways have you used it to make money? Thank you for your time I hope to get a response from you just looking for some insights about the degree and I believe it’s always a good idea to talk to people who already did what I want to do.

I have been working as an illustrator for a company for the past 10 years, in July I was informed that my contract will be coming to and end in December. After I got over all the anxiety, sadness and so many other emotions, I had to get back to figuring out what am I going to do next. Your videos have been extremely helpful and I'm so thankful to you for taking the time to share with us your life experiences. I love the industry I work in and I'm hoping I can find a new home for my art.

Make art, sell art, sell products with the art on, maybe go wholesale. With a potential side-helping of premade surface pattern and/or book covers. Your description of the Bucket Two jobs really highlighted that it's not for me - or at least, not at this stage of my life. I don't have the flexibility to work around other people just now, so going back and forth with a client and working to their deadline isn't realistic. Thank you for sharing your experience with us; it is very helpful for newer artists like me! And thanks for the tip on the GAG Guide - I have used it and recommended it to other artists who are just starting out. 😊
i'm in this stage that i have to make my art marketable. so i'm asking for portfolio reviews from artists and try to search for my strong areas, because i can't see them. thanks for the video!
