This is the cleanest interior I've ever seen for a square body. What a space to work with its beautiful

How did you wire your fuel tank sending unit to Dakota box? What fuel tank and sending unit did you use.

We put new tanks and sending units on it. Got em from LMC Truck. Wiring goes from each sending unit into the switch on the dash, then from the switch to the Dakota box. Gauge shows the level of the selected tank.

Im running 87k5 blazer tank 31 gal. Using same sending unit with 3 wires purple gray black. DD say run fuel- from box straight to black ground wire from the sending unit but not the frame . But also say make sure you ground the pump ground. So then splice the negative sending unit wire to chassis and the other goes to fuel- on DD box?

@@luismoreno2383 I would have to go look at what we did to be sure (it's been a minute), but for one thing, we're using a mechanical fuel pump, so there's no wire for that in our case. My gut says you don't want to use the chassis as ground for the sending unit because of the electrical noise from the ignition. This is pretty common for sensors and gauges.

I'll try see if I can get hold of Dakota to clarify it's first time wiring so to me it gets more confused the more I read then the twisted wires stuff...so 2 wires per fuel terminal from DD box?...but any how appropriate the advice

So only on mechanical fuel pumps then you ground the pump to the frame? Just trying to understand new things

what interface are you using model

I'm not sure I understand the question. The Dakota Digital kit comes with everything you need. The only interface I can think of is the module that all of the gauges and sensors plug into, which comes with the kit. Is that what you're asking?

@@some-guys-garage yes i thought i had to buy everything separate great video

Everything in the video came in the kit. There are some additional modules you can add, like the gear selection indicator, GPS speed sensor, and things like that, but those are optional.

We bought the RTX series. I believe it's the RTX-79C-PU-X.
