What this implies is that FHTNG has been protecting Oleander's pride by beating any opponents that are too much for her and erasing her memories so she has no recollection of ever having been defeated.

My guide on how to beat her. First phase: At the beginning of the match spam a for a free rope then combo her. You usually want to hit low as much as possible since (for me) she usually blocks high. When she starts poking you either use your magic dash or try to rope her. Second phase: Actually really easy. Don't try to go after her or attack her, she will ALWAYS teleport to you when she does she usually is defensless. Keep blocking the whole match and when she teleports towards you attack then RETREAT. She will come back to teleport you anyways, and if you do continue attacking her she may use that bull**** super armor move. Third phase: Just follow the video.

It just happened to be right when v1.0 was announced this month! When i opened the game i warmed up a little to test some moves and see how Ari's inputs work. Then i went straight to the Story Mode and i said "Oh screw it!" And i played it on the hardest difficulty. So yeah, YOLO 🤙🏻
It took me almost 5 complete hours of trying and trying but I finally managed to beat her TwT TwT Oleander was always my favorite character since the moment I played the tutorial, but now I have an even deeper respect for her. Hardest boss I have even fought against.
oh... the anti-air lasso... i didnt think that would actually reach considering you usually have to super jump to go high enough to attack her... probably much easier than constantly whiffing aerial attacks... now if only i could get through the first two phases with more than 3 slivers of health left

Wait, theres a THIRD phase?! At the second phase i got a double KO where both me and Oleander were knocked out. After that, Oleander says how Arizona was really hard to beat and then Fred loots you like normal. Is this like a normal thing where if you get KO-ed in the second round the story continues or do you have to fight Oleander again?
I think what happened in your case is that the game saw that you beat the first two stages (with the Ollie KO) and saw that you were defeated (with the Ari KO), so the game concluded that you should get the ending.
Me too. I also heard a rumour that Fred was originally owned by the prophet that sealed all the predators away. I really hope that the plans and goals he has is to do it again woth the help of Oleander.
I'd like to put forth another possible scenario. If you read through the lore, it mentions that the Key was used not only to lock the Predators into the Void, but to also lock the doorway to Foenum that keeps it separate from the "other worlds." Perhaps "Fred" is planning on using the Key not to help the Predators, but to free himself.

2y late so you probably already found out the answer, but in case you didn't, if you didn't get the Longma Ball previous to Oleander's fight, Fred just comments how Arizona had nothing of value and they both think the fight was a waste of time, Oleander to choosing to go check for information somewhere else.
and the most frustating to me is, using a keyboard to beat her, it hard to combo but i getting used to it, also rip my controller. *i hate hadouken pony*

It's distinctly possible that "FHTNG" or "Fred" is just an alias of the Devourer who rules the predators.
