    "Sound Shed" looking great, Ron... You must be so proud - or , you most definitely should be.... So much hard work has definitely paid off.... The 'Shed' sounds amazing thru' IEMS...
    Love your Channel - Objective, informative, great technical info & a really cool, friendly presentation-style. *Go, Ron, GO*!! All the very best from Japan, (ex-Scotland) (60+ yrs. young retired Mech. Eng.)...

    The more I listen to reviewers the more I realized that as objective as they want to be they have they own preferences about construction and sound to mention a few. And audio clips are worthless I dont waste my time with them.
    Im the ultimate judge of sound because nobody has my ears and brain. The cosmetics of it all plays a role on how much I enjoy music.
    Reviewers are mostly quite entertaining in a good way.
    Its like a open window into somebody's psychology.
    Thank you. And with that I keep coming back.

    • @Pok-001
      @Pok-001 Месяц назад +1

      You are correct. Few reviewers I trust to give me a solid evaluation of gear. My preferences may not be theirs but they can describe the sound to let me know if it may be my jam or not.
      And like you said it’s up to my ears to make that choice. And my room plays a big part in that as well. So sound clips are basically entertainment not a way to t gear.

      Hi,
      Yes Ron's sound clips are good enough to get a first impression.
      If you want to make purchases, you should really listen in the store where you would purchase them.
      Preferably take your own amplifier with you.

    I thought that the leading edge transients were muted compared to the reference track despite your announcement of a 15k peak.
    I hear them as just a bit dull overall. I didn't hear "more life" in the speakers. I heard more life in the reference tracks.

    Agree upper mids are softer than source. Also bass was less extended. But good sound overall. Yamaha has exceptional music equipment and digital keyboards (which I own and use). These are stupendously expensive in Australia and there are plenty of worthy competitors at that price point. Its really hard to understand if Yamaha actually intend to sell them or are just making them to demonstrate capability. More (but still not enough) manufacturers are realizing that brass is for convenience and are poor conductors (for example 60% compared to copper) for sound reproduction and the microthin coating of gold is still not going to change that very much. I hope one day anything brass will be out of my signal chain.
