I'm in the USA, Janit, 76-years-old, not in great health and not in great wealth 😏, so I don't know if I will ever get back to Switzerland, but I am making my plans!. I've spent good stretches in Germany, France, and Italy but only a couple of days in Switzerland. Dumb, dumb, dumb. In the mid-90s, I was in Bern with a free day so I took the Lake Thun boat to Interlacken just for the boat ride. As I walked around Interlacken, I knew where to look for the Eiger, but am not sure if I actually saw it. I was in a hurry that day -- planes don't wait -- but I so wish I had grabbed some transportation and headed toward Mürren (or, even, Grindelwald); I didn't realize how close I was to that great stuff. If I don't make it, I will feel like I did, thanks to this RUclips! I do a LOT of armchair traveling these days and with so many people putting up good video (good but rarely as good as yours), I have sometimes gotten confused as to whether I have actually been somewhere or just watched video. The technology is so good that you really feel like you were there. So now, with this video and others plus Google Maps and websites, I am coming to OWN the Jungfraujock area! If I make it over there, I won't even bother going up to the top -- hey, I've seen it -- I will spend my time in the valleys and villages. The truth is that snowy mountains are a bit of a bore after a while, unless you're skiing, of course. But places like Mïrrem, I DO want to be there and smell it and feel it as well as see it. Thanks so much!
