I have never seen before the horizontally view of genicular artery. We always perform this block on the sagittal section view.

Is he using the same needle for multiple injections? Wouldn't this dull the needle causing more discomfort?

Does this produce long term results or as the injected liquid goes by, comes the pain back?

Correction there are 4 branches--no one goes after the inferior lateral because you can bag the peroneal nerve too (and nobody likes footdrop)

Great video - is this used usually before or after knee replacement?

This was all done at Tulane Hospital in New Orleans,La.I specifically remember havibg my surgery a few years before hurricane Katrina so it's well over 20 years ago.I had tried going back to the Doctor who did my knee replacement, however he has left Tulane and relocated to Michigan after Katrina and I could not find a surgeon willing to do anything to help with my knee . I had seen 3 Specialist during this time two were with Ochsner and the other at Tulane. Know one wanted to touch my knee for fear of the infection returning and the operation or procedure. would be major and they would have to destroy all the work the original surgeon
specialist had done risking the high probability of losing my leg.

Do you mind if I ask that why the hell are you too harsh when you insert the needle ?
This merciless behaviour is not acceptable.
By the way your technique is not right
