25G 1.5 inch needle, lidocaine 2% or bupivicaine 0.5% steroids added if inflammation or swelling, usually depomedrol 10-20mg

How much time will local anaesthetic reaction stay?

lidocaine 2% lasts 2 hours but can give long term pain relief despite short duration of action
