Hands down my favorite shoe right now, just got back into running after 15 years or so, it’s been a pleasure using the ghost max, I also tried and have the ASICS Nova blast 4 and Clifton 9
@@Frichilsasta08 i have the Clifton 9 and now the ghost max. I felt like out of the box the Clintons had a softer feeling foam. The max are soft but not as soft as the Cliftons. I now have maybe 100 miles on the Cliftons and they don't feel as soft. I have maybe 20 miles on the max and am loving them. They feel soft and responsive. Just my guess but i feel like they will hold up better than the Cliftons. Just an fyi I'm 255lbs so my shoes do wear out faster so I'm guessing that's why my Cliftons don't feel as good with only 100 miles on them.
@DAjugRnaut at 255lbs I feel like you should definitely go for shoes with firmer foams because you'll compress them more: triumph 21, ride 17, ghost max, gel cumulus 26....I also heard heavier runners like the gel nimbus too
@@Frichilsasta08 thanks for the info. I have the triumphs 19 which I like better than the ride. The rides cushion did not feel good. I do want to try the cumulus. For now though the ghost Max seem to be doing the trick. I like them better than the Clifton.
I really liked this shoe when I tried it on in the wide…..but I worry about the upper in the toe area it seem soooo thin. Have you heard any issues with people getting holes in the upper easily?
You know what I always say, "Ain't nothing wrong with more cushion for the pushin'"

Those are 3 great shoes! I need to try more ASICS but I pay for a lot of my shoes out of pocket so I can only pick up so many!
How does ghost max compare to novas and clifton

Watched a few of your videos but somehow missed you work at Utah run! Used to live around the corner but now down in Spanish fork. Great shoe reviews
Hey! I just do social media for them so I'm only in there occasionally but yeah I'm affiliated with them!
Solid review brother!
Good review I like. Just bought Clifton 9 lol.
Clifton 9 is a great shoe
I came for the clickbait title and wasn’t disappointed! The ghost max 1 shoe itself was a personal disappointment but you had a great review!
Haha! Glad to hear I didn’t disappoint on the review itself
