Damn...that Bigboy is an absolute BEAST!
Next time, saw a packman (v-shape) with the opening in the direction you want the tree to fall. Make the shape just over half the width. Then make a single saw cut on the opposite end to fell the tree. Always remain on the sides for safety. Might safe you a fence or an injury;)
only issue with cutting on the side the tree’s already leaning is it can pinch the saw pretty bad

I just bought a Silky BigBoy 2000 Outback Saw to pair with my Gransfors Bruks Small Forest Axe, as they make an extremely capable, compact and lightweight duo.
When they return to stock I'll buy a Silky Gomboy Curve Outback Saw to join my Gransfors Bruks Mini Hatchet and Mora Companion Heavy Duty Stainless in a compact, lightweight emergency kit.
I cannot think of a better combination of saw and hatchet/axe for their relative size, weight and capability.
Whilst the 360mm saw will be easier to use and more productive than the 240mm, whilst not being significantly heavier, the overall packed size is of importance (otherwise I would have chosen two 360mm saws).
I expect the GB Mini Hatchet and Silky Gomboy Curve Outback will be the most convenient, compact and lightweight and therefore be chosen more often.
My only previous saws were the one fitted to my Victorinox Swiss Champ and an ultralight Fiskars/Gerber Sliding Saw, but a tent stove changed my requirement for wood and I'd prefer to limit the calories I burn and the time I take to acquire sufficient stocks of the required size and that's where better wood processing tools come in!
Exactly what I needed to known
The big boy is impressive! But your felling technique is not. Please, please learn to put in a scarf in the direction you want it to fall then the back cut. Just cutting it straight through like that, you could end up with the tree falling in a completely uncontrolled way. Not to mention the tree sitting on and jaming the saw.
That’s a puny little tree, no danger really. But you are right about the technique. Looks like he was gonna drop it right on the fence on that first cut.
The blade was almost broken a few times. the Silky saws are Pull saws. move it in a circular motion with the downward force as you pull the blade toward you. replacement blades are expensive.

Gomboy is about .8 of a pound and big boy 1.17
