I love that they don't do animations too often because it makes every one they do feel special and allows them to go all out with the quality. I have all the respect in the world for animators because they can make such amazing things like this. I could never do it because I would go insane at how tedious and complicated it looks.

Mihoyo is really great at making their CG look like 2D, but all the characters definitely look 2D here. They're just good at making their 2D look a lot like the CG art so it blends well. With CGI the hair wouldn't have such specifically tailored shapes like that for every movement.

Now that was just plain beautiful. I'm so impressed. It's interesting to see Mihoyo try out a different animation style to their usual top tier CG animations. It seems like the studio they contracted used more traditional animation techniques, or at least tried to make it look that way. It turned out amazing. I hope one day Mihoyo will try creating a full length anime.
Seeing the sisters dance together iceskating was wonderful. While Mei was the first to be daring like in the story. The equipments they use, speed of their movements and technique actually feels like it links to how they are striding forward on their own paths. Kiana (Sirin) and Durandal (Kiana) finally beside someone as an equal while Mei storms ahead with Bronya picking up the pace now as well. Mei and Bronya together in scene also could allude to how they end up working together and so tight knit in APHO. The animation quality is wonderful and this is so out of nowhere....
This little banger has more views in 5 days than most of Mihoyo's other videos. Wonder if they were expecting that. I hope they release an extended version of the music.
Kiana and Bianka’s journey was just spectacular. They started off of Kiana adoring her, and wanting to be the S rank Valkyrie that Bianka was. Then Kiana made her the enemy and it was sad to see that “Durandal” didn’t get any recognition really. But this new story and this animation just shows how far they have gone. Spectacular work Hoyo team!

I woke had an amazing dream listening to this when it played as an ad while I was asleep. I woke up to watch the final seconds of it and as it ended I panic. I looked for this damned ad for hours, posting on numerous sub reddits, finally, I FOUND IT. i haven't slept in 32 hours!

WONDERFUL animation. I rarely see exquisite animations, but this one really amazed me. (I watched it many times and it is always breathtaking!) Well-drawn characters, smooth transitions, perfect music, and sound effects. Plus, the attires are well-designed.
Every time they drop an animation, every single time, I'm mesmerized from start to end and I can't stop replaying them over and over again. Visuals, music, they make everything so wonderful and unique, even a short animation like this, they do blessed us with beauty.

OKAY i have a theory for 1:19 like i agree it's tehre power but i was rewatching and after the 10 watched i was like "why does bronya's power move a bit like waves ? and i was doing some research and after a few more minute i screamed "THE SEA OF QUANTA!" so basicly i have this now for the reference perhaps made for the fan to go crazy or just because it made the video more awesome but meeh: bronya (surfing)= the sea of quanta mei (jumping in darkness) = she left for world serpent kiana and bianka (shaterring the "glass" *?* ) = fighting Otto and winning breaking free from his illusion and oh my god ow my brain hurt
Not only did they gives us a beautiful animation and a soundtrack that is fire, they also made it so they're both completely synchronized, like, every major move is followed by a hard beat, the animation matches the song's pacing and builds it up beatifully!!! I need to meet the person directing these animations.

All the characters going down the mountain are in CGI, but it's so good! You just have to pause the video and you see that it's CGI :)

This is concept, what more if it is full version.. Hoyo gave me faith that animation is art at it's finest.
WONDERFUL animation. I rarely see exquisite animations, but this one really amazed me. (I watched it many times and it is always breathtaking!) Well-drawn characters, smooth transitions, perfect music, and sound effects. Plus, the attires are well-designed.
Every time they drop an animation, every single time, I'm mesmerized from start to end and I can't stop replaying them over and over again. Visuals, music, they make everything so wonderful and unique, even a short animation like this, they do blessed us with beauty.

OKAY i have a theory for 1:19 like i agree it's tehre power but i was rewatching and after the 10 watched i was like "why does bronya's power move a bit like waves ? and i was doing some research and after a few more minute i screamed "THE SEA OF QUANTA!" so basicly i have this now for the reference perhaps made for the fan to go crazy or just because it made the video more awesome but meeh:
bronya (surfing)= the sea of quanta
mei (jumping in darkness) = she left for world serpent
kiana and bianka (shaterring the "glass" *?* ) = fighting Otto and winning breaking free from his illusion

the synchronization between animation and music nailed it
Not only did they gives us a beautiful animation and a soundtrack that is fire, they also made it so they're both completely synchronized, like, every major move is followed by a hard beat, the animation matches the song's pacing and builds it up beatifully!!! I need to meet the person directing these animations.
