It's a shame some of the marshes are filled with Phragmites, particularly at the beginning of the trail. That stuff is taking over huge areas here in South Jersey as well. Anyway that looks like an awesome trail to hike. What was the point of the little stairways on flat ground? I didn't get that. Awesome view at the end.
.. you park on 517N bound. Do not park on the side streets/residential, you’ll get the ticket….20 years ago it was a such a peaceful place to walk. After introducing social media it has become a nuisance with out-of-towners
That last part is not the prettiest of hikes. It's rocky, steep, and very uneven, so watch your step, no real stairs whatsoever. Descending it is no bargain either. A funny story, before you start that climb there is a relatively flat area. Many hikers have reported seeing hear bear. Sure enough, on my way back I ran into bear, most likely the same bear everybody else ran into before. It appeared to be used to people, and went about his way looking for food, forest food that was. I have it on video!!!
Timer rattle snakes and copper head < Beautiful View
Thank you for explaining the distance. I watched other videos on thus trail and they were not descriptive enough. Thank you
Anytime! Welcome, I try my best in hiking videos to get say enough description about the trails.
Best video ever

… you get off the boardwalk not ‘boards’ 🤣 that’s why it’s called boardwalk.

To each their own
@@so_you_want_to_visit6525 you have a snarky attitude in the video and in the comments. Like you are better than everyone
