I want to point out that in library, things clashed very consistently. No one complained about low rolls because normally you could stack enough power to get whatever number you needed.
I think the bigger difference between the two is that LoR isn't all or nothing. With Limbus, whoever wins the clash is the only one to deal damage, not counting status effects. That, plus stagger being part of the health bar instead of its own thing means there's a *lot* less room for error; lose one clash and you might lose the sinner outright Whereas in LoR, if you low roll low a few times, it's not a big deal. It's just a few points of HP/Stagger...usually.
@@koimeiji I would argue you're right, at least partially. But still, I would wager the most infuriating thing about Limbus is moreso the inconsistency when you need consistency than the consequences of chance. For example, Dream-Devouring Slitcurrent, even with a team tailor made for it, can still be a reset if you fail one or two clashes with ego. In LOR most clashes can be won if you bring the right pages and build, and the only ones that suffer from "how was I supposed to win that" syndrome are late game fights like Reverb Phillip, where they use mass attacks that have no good answer page wise. But that's HIGHLY uncommon, compared to limbus where low rolling is so common most jokes about characters are just "rip space failed at 45 sanity" or "Nclair skill 3 failed at -35 sanity".

I haven't watched yet but from the account name alone you deserve a sub
Me watching my sinners at 45 sp and "very high" chance (and big coin numbers) roll 0/1 coin at 12 needed (no good ego gift)
but the enemy also rolled all tails so youre relieved but then remember youre underleveled and the enemy gets +5 CLASH POWER
Y'all forgetting this is a Project Moon game, this is all just a part of that vertical difficulty spike. Watch, next we'll get a Queen of Hatred battle with that 99 sinking potency and the laser beam that gets reused for every sinner rendered insane with the added effect of damaging your supporting sinners as well.
[On Skill Use] Yeet a Supporting Sinner from existence.
[On Battle Start] If a Sinner still has HP; regain this Skill next turn.
[Coins I-M] Inflict 99 Sinking Potency (Re-use all coins every time a Sinner breathes).
@@willvan7685 you forgot
on hit inflict 99 sinking count then inflict sinking deluge
Ignore the Javelin shit, what the fuck is up with Defend The Town attack or some shit. You know, the -1 Dice bullshit. Yeah sure let's hope this EGO can consistently roll heads. Nope, there goes Yi Sang he went from 100 to 0 in just 1 turn
They think they NClair
hmmm seems like i should get into this game
the important gacha part isn't in the pulling but the gameplay!
Well, at least you didn't fail rip space with max charge 2 times in library of ruina
or when a 0 sp merusault of mine rolled tails 10 times in a row before a single heads
trully a 50/50
perception bias issue
yep
Literally every start of a fight im like i win these only to not for whatever reason i have insane luck with cinq outis skill 3 constantly heads XD
20+ sanity outis vs -40sanity heatcliff?
6/18 vs 4/10
3 coin vs 3coin
After 3 clashes guess who won
honestly so funny that when something rare happens to you when it is positive you forgert about it, but when it is something negative you will absolotuly destroy anything even if you won a clash with -25 sp last turn
that's how human mind works😔
negativity bias my beloved
welp, 45sp with 95% so you should expect it full head to win clash, and same for -40 sp supposed to get full tail, but if it not 100% so everything just boil down into you win clash but for reason that game just want to troll with 1 coin lose with a unit have -25sp that hit head full time in decisive moment lead to a lose. Yea I would like for a distort too
Yeah I guess the main word here is rare
So-called „Limbus company professionals” proving you need to have a lot of skill and thinking to win in Limbus (Tingtang Hong Lu said luck equals skill):
this fucking sanity bullshit is the reason why i resorted to the cheese strat for ricardo (literally just Nclair + LCB fishmael)
also video broke i want to fucking die
also also warp ryoshu rolled a single heads coin on D.D.E.D.R. once on +45 SP
Then you play N-sinclair and if he even has any positive SP, he is flipping heads like no one's business
ngl, if they ain't buff 45 sp to 100% hit head, then just reset it back to 70% because that thing is way more consistent than prequod town healing 12 sp with 6 bastard
Skill issue
Me when the randomly generated number is random:
aint reading allat
I’ll put a family guy clip in there next time sorry
